Had a fantastic day celebrating at the Beaufort Park Hotel for my Dads 80th Birthday! The management and staff went above and beyond to make his day a very special one. From Ted’s help making the room look amazing! To the delicious food and excellent service throughout our meal from the manager Mark and his team on the day and the help in planning it all with the events co ordinator Hannah to name just a few. An excellent venue for any occasion. Thank you all on behalf of my Dad and family for making his day a very special one x

When you get beyond the first impression of the somewhat weird architecture of the building with its strange turrets, soaring staircase and peculiar nooks and crannies, this is a really nice hotel. We just wanted reasonably priced beds for the night close to Theatre Clwyd and were surprised that there wasn’t a travelodge or Premier Inn nearby. Despite the mixed reviews and for the price of a chain hotel (I booked directly with reception) we decided to stay here. We were pleasantly surprised. Our rooms were warm, clean, brightly lit and spacious and had obviously been refurbished to a high standard albeit with dated doors and fitted furniture. The bathrooms were very new. There was seating for two, lots of sockets and USB chargers, a tea tray and full size bedside tables. Next morning we enjoyed as good a breakfast as you would get anywhere served by lovely ladies in the pleasant dining room and for around the price of a couple of cups of coffee. I think where negative reviews arise it’s because the hotel is large and of a certain age. Renovation is a costly ongoing process, it must be a money pit, especially after COVID. The banners outside advertising the conference venue and theme nights, the photos of weddings, together with reviews mentioning coach tours, suggest that the management is not sure what its main market is. On the night we stayed (a week night) there were traders’ white vans and other working people as well as small parties of walkers and other individuals but it was pretty quiet. If we came to the theatre again and the room rate was right we would stay here again.

We were on a coach weekend and stopped off at this hotel for the night. We were given a lovely welcome and registration was well organised, by friendly staff. The room was large, with tea and coffee provided, a T.V if needed, and a clean comfortable bed, the room and bathroom was spotless! Our evening meal was really nice and we didn't leave the table hungry! The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and professional. Breakfast was a dreamfest! Everything was clean, hot food gorgeous and the cold choices aplenty!☺️ I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Wales and needing a break from driving?

Our first visit here for myself, my partner and a couple of friends and i must say we were all pleasantly pleased with everything. Staff were, on the whole, very friendly. Being on a mystery coach trip we've been to several hotels, some good and some not so good and on a couple of occasions a couple which were very bad. The Beaufort Park Hotel was a hotel where we can only judge it as very, very good. ROOMS Our rooms were spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable which resulted in a good night's sleep. The towels were soft and fluffy and toiletries and tissues were also included. There was even extra pillows and towels in the wardrobe should we have needed them. Another plus was two chairs in the room. Often when we have stayed in a double room there has only been one chair which has resulted in one of us having to sit up on the bed which isn't always comfortable. It was a pleasant change for us both to be able to sit on a nice chair and read or enjoy a nice cuppa. Another plus was decent blackout curtains which helped us get off to sleep easily. FOOD The evening meal was a three course meal followed by a hot cup of coffee or tea if you preferred. All courses were hot, tasty and plentiful. The hotel even laid on evening entertainment for the night which we listened to for a while before going to another quiet spot in the hotel where we could have a bit of quiet time before retireing for the night. The next morning after a good night's sleep we went down to breakfast and again, it didnt disappoint. Plenty of choice, hot, cold or continental aswell as a very good hot buffet style cooked welsh breakfast was also on offer. I must say the highlight of my breakfast was the scrambled egg, it was so light and creamy, i could have gone up for seconds. Again everything was cooked perfectly. The staff worked very hard making sure everything was readily available for us so there was no long waiting times. OVERALL. Overall our first visit won't be our last. If we are in the area again we won't hesitate to book ourselves into The Beaufort Park Hotel were we know we will get a good meal, a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast in the morning. To all the staff from the room cleaners, the chefs, kitchen and bar staff and Sandy the receptionist and to anyone else who made our stay a very enjoyable one, Thank you. X
