Huge park in a beautiful location. Good sized caravan sites and easily accessed. However, this park attracts big numbers of campers in holiday times, and campers don't have access to their own facilities. The park has 6 facilities blocks. Sounds impressive but the actual numbers are poor. A total of 12 mens showers and 12 ladies for the whole location. Also, many of the facilities are not open in 'quiet times' and most of the facilities are not close to the main caravan and camping sites. When you can get one, the showers have good water pressure and are hot - but you have to hang everything you take into the shower on ONE hook. Also the toilets (just a few more than showers) aren't equipped with a toilet brush. All of the rubbish bins and the one dump point are located hundreds of metres from most caravan and camping sites. Not a caravan park laid out with customers at the forefront of design. Best to go in quiet times but not in school holidays and on busy weekends. On a positive note we experienced a grey water blockage and overflow - and this was dealt with and resolved within minutes.

Safari tent was clean and appointed with all the basics and laid out in such a way that each tent feels very private. The lake is beautiful. We'll definitely return.

The Dam and its surrounds are just beautiful. That makes it all the more disappointing that attention to detail with the accommodation is lacking. We had a 2 bedroom chalet for a weekend. It is a 4 sleeper but had only one wine glass! There is no oven, only a 2plate electric stove and a microwave so one clearly opts for BBQ meals but there was no barbeque tongs and no grids to place meat on. There are stainless steel BBQs but the open fire BBQ is really so much more camp style. The washing up liquid comes in squeeze sachet and is really weak and quite useless. What's wrong with a small bottle which they can fill as appropriate. Oh yes and just 2 face cloths for 4 people. The coffee and tea mugs-cups are so thick and unappealing one has cold drinks most of the time because your drink has to first warm up the thick crockery! Just all round disappointing - yet we pay a very decent rate??

We have stayed there previously in a cabin but decided to book a glamping tent. After making the booking we read reviews and people said there is no bathroom and no kitchen. It is not worth paying for a tent with no facilities. We cancelled and lost our money .

酒店回复: Thank you for your review, it is unfortunate that you lost your money this was due to your booking being in premium season and also not letting us know that you wanted to cancel until the evening after your arrival date. We understand that our Safari Tents are not suitable for everyone and when we can if we are given the opporutnity we would certainly try to accommodate you in a different type of accommodation or offer you a credit to use at another time. If you would like to discuss this further at anytime please do not hesitate to contact us here directly at the Park Kerry

The property is a glamping tent, described as having a 'shared bathroom'. This is misleading as suggests shared with another glamping tent.
The bathrooms were the ammenities blocks on the site. Clean and functional, but a walk at night in the dark.
This was not what we expected, it impacted me personally for medical reasons, my sleep.and we left early in the morning before 6am due to the impact.
Please change your advertising to clearly show that there is a walk to the ammenities and not a 'shared bathroom'. Very misleading, we did not enjoy our stay, it caused us to leave very early and a difficult night.

Great place for waters sports and fishing walking ( the park is 1 km end to end) and just relaxing Very popular as its quite close to Brisbane for weekenders. Amenities are well maintained. A huge range of various sites available as well as glamping.

Just spent relaxing week at lake Somerset. The park grounds were grassy with all sites having water views. We booked an unpowered site and were able to choose our site on arrival. There are several amenity blocks scattered throughout the park and a well equipped camp kitchen. All very clean. The boat ramp catered for 3 boats at a time and we caught lots of yummy redclaw. The fish weren't biting. Children loved the playground, the putt putt, swimming, playing on the big oval and riding their bikes and scooters around the park. I loved the instant boiling water available at the camp kitchen for a quick cuppa and to wash up dishes. Will definitely return.

They provide mini golf free for kids to play. If you bring nothing but want to play water, there is a small business hiring kayak & boat. You may see some Kangaroos. After checking out at 10am powered site, they allow you to stay until 6pm same date at unpowered site. So my family just move the camping trailer to another good spot to take some photos. Overall, my family has a very good time here with lot of beautiful photos and videos. The only disappointed is we catch only 2 yabbies. Will definitely come back to catch more yabbies next time
