Place was clean, and staff friendly. The room was adequate, no safety bars for the shower, both of us came close to falling. Breakfast was par. The motel is more of a stopping place, not too any activities in the area. Had to call to get tv working, signal kept going off.

Very good sleeping. Quiet. Breakfast was a disappointment. Sparse offerings. No waffle makings or syrup. No milk out to go with dry cereal. No oatmeal in the unplugged crockpot. Couple slices of bead, few muffins, bagels available. Worker never checked on stock while we were down there. Eggs were gone. I did mention that to her when she appeared behind the counter as we were leaving. She said the next shift was coming in soon. Then said she could go and start more. She was interested in her phone, not working for her wages.

Disgusting. Ants everywhere, even got inside my phone! Toilet seat loose and falling off, hair dryer missing (got sucks to be you response from front desk) , AC is sketchy. Lighting in bathroom is terrible, tiles falling off and no exhaust fan so have to keep bathroom door closed. Could not bring myself to eat there so had to go out for breakfast.

I am here for 5 days for work. The company I work for made and paid for the reservation. I had to present a credit card to cover "incidentals." The desk clerk didn't seem to understand and we went back and forth about the room not being charged to my credit card when I checked in last night. I hope she got it right. My room has a funky, nursing home uriney kind of smell. The carpet under the AC is soaked with AC drippage. I reported it as soon as I checked in and requested the AC be fixed while I was at work today. My room has flies and pharaoh ants. A coworker staying across the hall has many small flying insects in her room. I reported the bugs as soon as I checked in last night, as well. Children were running in the hallway, laughing and banging on doors until nearly 1 AM. Breakfast was supposed to be served at 6 AM. Nope. No breakfast. I ended up eating half an apple and a tablespoon of peanut butter. The cereal bins were locked and not even cereal was available. When I left for work at 6:20, the dining room was still dark with no breakfast in sight and no breakfast aroma. Last year, this was an OK hotel. It has truly gone significantly downhill, and I am not at all happy with it this year.

No night person, had a note up and key cards with guests name on them for anyone to take. I had to end of leaving since I was locked out of my room and nobody there to make keys. Should have had a refund but Michelle will just tell you to bad, you went in the room. Very rude and should keep in hiding away from the public. Rooms are gross, ants, hair all over, beds not changed. Go elsewhere

I am not one to ever knock a business who is trying hard (not intentionally) and I certainly have grace where deserved. Nonetheless, I was disappointed in our stay here. I had chosen it above several others close to Holiday World because it seemed much better quality. I can't say whether the others are worse because I didn't stay there, but this hotel seemed to be struggling. It looked dated and in need of upkeep. The room was clean but common areas like the elevator had issues in cleanliness. The breakfast worker was kind and hard working but it was a pretty bad hotel breakfast. The waffle mixes were watery and not mixed well which caused us difficulty making waffles. There wasn't much else besides the usual microwaved scrambled eggs and some poor quality sausages. The pool area was not well maintained and kind of gross.

Not enough can be said about the staff that works at this location. They truly represent their community. This weekend is not the 1st weekend we’ve stayed at this location. My families are spread out in the region and it’s a great central location. Every time we stay here, we are “Home”. If they can help they will. I can not say enough about this place. We’ve stayed at many very high end hotels, but I’d gladly forgo the esthetics for the genuine authentic atmosphere experienced here any day!

Our room was completely infested with ants. All over every table and the beds. I will never book here again. The elevator was also super loud. I feel bad for any guest who had rooms near it as it had to keep them up during the night. They did move us rooms away from the ants but only credit d us a small amount for a MUCH smaller room when we booked a suit.

Just ok.Nothing special.Was not as clean or friendly as most hotels but could have been worse.Breakfast was ok.Pool was a good size.Thats the only good thing about this hotel.Shoutout to the maintenance lead that had to run the place overnight because everyone called in on the fourth of July.He done an awesome job.This place is not woth your money.

Great service and great facility. We didn’t use the pool, or eat the breakfast. But when we arrived the crib was in the larger room and we had an immaculate room. Everything was as needed Only negative is the sub par ventilation. Need a bathroom fan and frankly would have preferred the ability to draw outside air into room from the window. It was relatively stuffy and the venting in the bathroom is completely insufficient. But these are standard hotel problems, though some have put in simple fixes to improve ventilation in these rooms. Overall, we would stay here again gladly and will add this to our plans when going to Holiday world if we go again. Really a top notch value for what the hotel is.
