We booked Cavo Petra in Methana for a 10-day stay in August 2025 at 116€ per night without breakfast, expecting comfort for the price. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The property’s website is misleading, using fake JavaScript pop-ups to create false urgency about bookings. On arrival, we found no insect screens on the windows, which meant spiders, grasshoppers and mosquitoes entered the room every night — a constant concern with our toddler. The “3-bed room” turned out to be just one double bed plus a sofa that couldn’t properly support an adult. The water pressure was very low, and when we asked, the owner’s response was that we should “talk to the municipality.” The door lock was faulty, and after struggling to lock it without breaking the key, the owner simply told us that it “squeaks because of the heat.” The fridge hardly worked, bedding was poor quality, and there was no mini-kitchen or sink — which made things especially difficult for a family. Although the garden had a pleasant view, it was spoiled by the owner’s sick cat and its feces scattered around. We constantly had to watch our child to prevent accidents. Overall, this stay felt overpriced, poorly maintained, and stressful rather than relaxing. I would not recommend it, especially for families.

It is not so easy nowdays to find a hotel that really reach your criteria for :peach of mind,amazing view,value for money servises,friendly hospitality and outdoor activities in nearby Nature! Being honest,Cavo Petra is not the perfect hotel,but it is the best by far in Methana and nearby. Thats why we choose it,right ? Thank you dear Tony and Joanna for your kind hospitality !

The place was maybe one star with no mosquito screens so we hardly slept. The owner is a bit creepy. If you go there, there aren't many options for dinner so I suggest you bring your own food. We had dinner there which they took 47 euros for simple chicken and chips - the most expensive meal we had on the islands! Even though it's bed and breakfast, he wanted us to pay extra for the breakfast.

We choose the 6 days wellness retreat and was superb ! A must visit place near in Athens for unique vacations by the sea ! The retreat offers us the chance to unplug, destress and recharge our soul to beat the daily misery back to our City. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Accommodation by the Nature and full 5 days program for our family was exactly what we need to enjoy a summertime in Greece !

Stunning view, quiet, traditional Greek breakfast with local products from the village. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the beautifully landscaped large garden is a nice place to relax and enjoy a cocktail or dinner. The facility is very close to the antiquated thermal spring of Pausanias. You have to definitely visit the active Methana Volcano. Beaches for all tastes, pebbles, rocks - are also available ;) Very good wifi and shaded parking.

A refreshing holiday experience with absolute privacy in nature with an incredible view of the Saronic Gulf sea! Beautiful landscaped garden with lawn and palm trees! We enjoyed lounge music and cocktails Pleasant owners!

We spent three nights, and we had a great time. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. I truly enjoyed this location. Excellent beach, friendly visitors and staff. Here, everything was fantastic and dreamlike. That was the nicest vacation I've ever had, so thank you very much.

Is a gorgeous location, and the staff is extremely nice and attentive. The beach is beautiful, and if you're on the fence about booking, believe me when I say, BOOK IT, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

This fine hotel is beautifully furnished (Thoughtfully decorated and outfitted ). we were really delighted with the hotel's standard and overall excellence. Everything was incredibly nice and welcoming, and nothing was too much problem.
