Very Very OUTDATED and Not at all what I Expect at a Wyndham Property.
Outdates Rooms, Bathrooms and a Patio wood door that I can't Imagine being up to code.
It needs to be GUTTED COMPLETELY and redone.

This is a good place to stay. They offered discount tickets for Mackinaw Island ferry rides. The pool area was clean and the pool and hot tub were good.
The room was large.

The guy who checked us in was very nice! Breakfast was good. The pool area was nice and clean and the pool was warm- it sits right off the lake which was also a nice view!

We were very disappointed to discover that this "hotel" is actually a motel (with exterior room doors)! Front desk staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming when we arrived. Our room light did not work, the safety latch on the door had been broken off, and there were multiple dead bugs in various places in our room. The fitted sheet on our bed had large, dark stains in the center. Breakfast room was very hot and breakfast choices were mediocre. They had a toaster but no bread for toasting, only bagels. The entire facility seemed run down. I will never stay at a Baymont hotel again!

I would love to say we will be back to this hotel. This is our second stay winin 2months at thia hotel. The first experience was okay except for the pool and hottub area. The hottub was luke warm. We thought perhaps this was a fluke and our room was nice so we came back with a fall trip up north. The hottub again was cold and the pool was very cold. The temp in the hottub would have been nice if it was the pool water. Safly this was not the case. If you are looking for a quality hotel with a hottub to relax in or pool to swim in go elsewhere. If not, this hotel is perfect for you. Nice beds. Decent continental breakfast. Good view of the lake. For the price a working hottub and decent temperature for a pool would be nice. No, we are not picky. We swim in lake superior! This is just not acceptable for the money.

Check in they guy did not inform me of breakfast times, pool hours etc until I asked.
Room was ok for the price, but it was the last room so we didn’t have an option..
