Empty Nesters First Trip W/Out kids

We had a nice view of the Smoky Mountains. We enjoyed the hot tub because it was clean and nobody else was around. Very quiet for being in town. Room was clean and spacious.

Cold showers and expensive

Very expensive parking, very expensive breakfast, no hot water in the shower. I had to say something about the hot water twice in order for someone to come and look at it. Then when the maintenance man came, he tried to convince me that it was warmer and it wasn’t. Only to find out if they knew that the room had hot water problems prior. They did agree to move me after I requested. Also be on the lookout for bears, if you are afraid you might want to avoid staying here.

I stayed here for three nights while exploring the Great Smoky Mountains, and I’m really glad I chose this property. It’s tucked just off a busy street, which made it surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The facilities were excellent, and both breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel were truly satisfying.

While the front desk staff during check-in were a bit curt and spoke too softly to understand easily, the restaurant staff were friendly and hardworking, which made a big difference in the overall experience.
