Wrong room type was assigned to us - not enough beds so it took time to correct it. Julia at the front desk was new to the job, but very kind and did her best to correct the situation for us. Leather seats in the lobby were in bad shape, and all the plants were dead.

Once we got the correct room we had reserved, we had to kill 12-15 stink bugs that were on the curtains, counters, and walls. No option to go to another hotel for the night.

We would NOT sit in the lounge chair - it was grossly dirty. Arm was broke off the desk chair which had been glued on previously. Water damage to the ceiling. Broken clothes hangers. Beds were clean and comfortable, which was all we needed for one night, although there were bleach stains on the printed bedspreads. Not enough towels in the room. No sense reporting all of this to the front desk, as Julia was already handling multiple issues all by herself and calling the owners to walk her through problems. Owners did not attempt to come back to help her.

We're not fussy travelers, so as long as we had clean beds for the night and a place to freshen up, we're good, but next time I have to kill multiple flying bugs in the room I will opt to sleep in my car instead.

Extremely outdated and dirty. Our room had a chair that was completely soiled looked like it was taken out of a garbage. The desk chair was broke, towels and bedsheets had stains and the complimentary shampoo was half used. Hotel and room smelled old and like cigarettes.

This hotel is an older hotel. The staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable. The room had a funny smell. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. We had wires hanging from the ceiling (not hot) where a light might have been at one time. It was the first stop on a long trip and we didn't expect a lot for the price.

The place smells from the cooking in the office. I don't want to smell fish, curry or wet socks when I enter a hotel. This is such a cliche by now, you think people would learn. Use an exhaust fan! I wish they would have their homes offsite. The carpets were getting cleaned but they looked like they needed to have been cleaned a year ago. I did like the size of the room and its layout. But, it seemed like the room was being used as a store room as there were 2 rollaway beds stored within. No washcloth, one thin towel, and I never located the coffee pot. The rollaways turned out to be a lucky for me; The air conditioner was not big enough to cool the room. I ended up taking a roll away bed and putting it right by the a/c. I won't be choosing this brand again. On a good note, I forgot my license at the front desk and they were nice to have returned it to me later that night. Please don't support brands that allow the properties to be run down.

The rooms & linens were clean & ready for us when we arrived. Our reservations were easily checked-in & good to go. The atmosphere was pretty quiet. The staff was friendly & helpful when needed.

There were some questionable people hanging around downstairs & outside when we got there but the staff quickly made them vacate & were cleaning up the property! It's welcoming & comfortable, even with kids! We enjoyed our stay even though we weren't there for a joyous occasion.

We will stay here again!
