Staff , great amenities,nice room. Only down side was lounge was ran by one person who was also the cook.very very slow but not her fault.

They didn’t clean our rooms we were there for three nights, breakfast was terrible. They would only put out one or two lates or cups at a time

Keep driving. Don't give this place a second glance. Mathew Adebogun, the manager here is an abrasive and unpleasant man. In addition, the room was ~$250/ night and it was literally just big enough to hold a queen size bed, with paper thin walls. We attempted to stay here during a hockey tournament (with 2-3 teams staying). After driving for 14 hours, all we wanted to do was go into the hot tub, which we couldn’t do due to what seemed like 40 children in and around the hot tub. (Major safety concern also). After voicing concern, the manager called our room and proceeded to forcefully talk over my partner and say that “this is normal use of a hotel” and “good luck attempting to get a cancellation through *******”. We got a cancellation approved through ******* immediately to which the HOTEL didn’t approve, so we had to do the whole process again. Ofel, the lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful, and kind to us. The manager Mathew was the problem. Would not stay here as he doesn’t give any care or concern to his guests or his staff.

When you expressed concern about how busy the pool was, I offered to accommodate your family by opening the pool one hour earlier than usual the following morning. This was an exception to policy made specifically to support your request while still balancing the needs of other families staying with us.Within 10 minutes ,the pool was completely empty and our front desk team called to notify you of this immediately .You also raised concerns about the room rate and the size of the room you got. As I explained during our conversation, the rate you booked was correct for the date and occupancy level, and we do not have control over what is booked on our partner's website. However, when you indicated that you preferred not to proceed with the stay at that rate, I authorized a full refund immediately after ******* contacted us, and you chose to depart.I understand that travel days can be long and plans can change. My intention was to provide clear information and offer reasonable solutions based on the circumstances. I am pleased to hear that you had a positive interaction with Ofel, and I will pass that along.If you would like to discuss your experience further, I am available at the hotel and open to a direct conversation. The room was spotless, the beds comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. Abby needs a real shout out! She was the breakfast person with a smile and she was personable and friendly as well! If I am ever in Lloydminster again I will be sure to stay here! I highly recommend anyone else to do the same!

Good hotel with great staff, we enjoyed the pool and water slide very much. The room was fairly clean, however the staff could clean the floors a bit better as there was dust underneath the edges of the bed and there was hairs from the previous guests. The room didn’t feel super cozy because it was quite small with hardwood floors and no carpet, or seating other than the beds, besides one desk char. The Beds were quite comfortable and the pillows were great. The bathroom was small but clean, crazy good water pressure in the shower. I don’t care for the communal soaps and shampoos, but that’s “eco friendly” Breakfast was pretty standard, however it was very crowded and there was a lack of seating as the “Lounge” doubled as the breakfast seating in the morning. My family had ended up having to sit in the lobby. Overall I would recommend this hotel as the staff was excellent and accommodating, it was a bit on the pricey side I would in my opinion for not being a super “fancy hotel” but room rates have gone up quite a bit in the last few years and the hotel is fairly new. I liked the online check-in and the option for a late checkout for a small fee.
