Good location with many other hotels and vegetarian restaurants nearby. Very poor hospitality and no privacy in rooms with open ventilation in shower room. The linen not that very clean. Average helpful staff and no lift working. Below average breakfast. Not value for stay.

Horrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs! I had one of the worst hotel experiences ever at this property. The room we were given was in terrible condition — the bathroom was filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. The bed linen was torn, worn out, and looked extremely unhygienic. Even worse, we saw rats running around in the corridor, which is completely unacceptable for any hospitality establishment. When I approached the front desk and asked to change rooms, the receptionist Pandian was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. He refused to even listen to our concerns. His behavior alone was enough to ruin the stay. The food served was below average and nowhere near the quality advertised. To top it all off, my father's earphones, which were accidentally left in the room, were stolen. The entire experience was traumatizing, and I would strongly warn others to stay away. The positive reviews you see online are misleading or possibly fake — the hotel is nothing like the pictures shown on booking platforms. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

If you love wildlife experiences, The Gopinivas Grand is perfect — rats included in the room rate! 🐀 Sadly, they didn’t stop at sightseeing. They chewed my trekking bag, ate my Halwa, and scared my kids. Management’s solution? Big promises, zero follow-up. For the money charged, you’d be better off camping on the beach — at least there, you expect critters. Highlights of my stay at The Gopinivas Grand: Premium room rate 💰 Complimentary rats 🐀 Custom “rat-designed” holes in my trekking bag 🎒 Halwa room service (for the rats, not me) 🍮 Lowlight: management ghosted us after promising compensation. Not exactly the “Grand” memory I wanted my kids to have.

Fine location .Very pathetic and untidy rooms.Rooms were not ready. We HD to change the rooms thrice for cleanliness. Do not come to this hotel even if it is free.All the photos on the gallery are fake.Basic needs were not ready in the room...

Very bad hotel. Not even will 1 star. Our room was not ready till 5 PM. Was changed 3 times then also the room was not proper. The electric kettle was not there. The glass was not there. The Soap was not there. The extension was not working. I was not informed about it. The tea bags and sugar was also not there. I had to call for each and every thing. Don't go to this hotel

The overall experience was good however a few concerns about the breakfast and food in general. Breakfast served were not hot, could have been better if they placed some chafing dishes with burner or electrical heater to keep them hot. Hygiene and cleanliness was the major concern here as flies all around the place, foul smell throughout the restaurant space. Otherwise the food was good in general. Location is good, Value for money. Rooms were neatly done but the common areas in the property needs maintenance regularly to upkeep.
