The hotel surrounding is beautiful ,with mist covered mountains. Shimla is a beautiful town. The hotel driveway is very very steep and there is no view from the room which is very big, convenient and clean. The staff is helpful, though not all master English. Room maintenance could improve and monkeys frequently visit the dining room, and even guestrooms, if not kept closed.

It's hard to find a truly pet friendly place in the hills, but Shimla British resort Nailed it. I travelled with my lab Milo, and the staff welcomed him like a guest. We had morning walks through the forest trail behind the resort and The chef even maid Milo a special Chicken rice bowl. My Danish imperial room has a balcony with pine tree views peaceful and refreshing

We stayed in the British Royal Suite during a chilly January weekend. The room was already heated when we arrived late at night, and the antique furniture gave it a really cozy feel. The staff was very attentive — Rishu n Aman even brought us extra quilts without being asked. Dinner by the bonfire with hot garlic naan and paneer tikka was the highlight of our trip. Pros: Comfortable heated rooms, prompt service, good food, peaceful location, rooftop dining. Would we return? 100% yes, especially in winter!

Unplanned Fun with Friends" We booked this place last-minute for a quick friends’ trip, and it turned out better than any plan! Our favorite memory? Playing carrom and Uno in the restaurant while it rained outside, with hot momos and masala chai coming from the kitchen nonstop. Later, we all sat around the bonfire, wrapped in warm clothes, sharing stories until midnight. It didn’t feel like a hotel — it felt like someone’s warm mountain home. Special shout out to the service team (Kartik, Sahil and Aman).

After a full day of sightseeing, coming back to Shimla British Resort felt like coming home. The staff served us a freshly prepared meal by the fireplace, and we just relaxed with board games and laughter. Simple pleasures, great food, and a perfect evening every single night.

We stayed for three nights as a family of four, and it was such a wholesome experience. The kids played board games while we enjoyed tandoori snacks at the rooftop restaurant. Babita arranged a sightseeing cab for us and made sure our mornings started with chai and a smile. The cold weather didn’t bother us at all — the rooms were perfectly warm and cozy. We’ll definitely be back next winter!

一家非常漂亮的酒店!
餐厅的食物很不错,景色也很好。工作人员也非常友好。
