Power was out on arrival. Clerk stated they did not know what caused it or how long it would be off. Waited 45 minutes, then cancelled reservaton.

This is our normal go to hotel when we stay in lake charles. It is clean and the staff is normally friendly. It is not fancy, but it serves the purpose.

Clean, neat, sparse and isolated.
The room was neat and clean, but like many less expensive hotels, lacked a few things. For example, there was no facial tissue, only tiny amounts of soap, a minimal coffee maker with enough coffee for only two weak cups, and no freezer in the fridge. Though there is a Mexican restaurant across the street, the hotel is far away from the main parts of town and requires quite a drive to find other eating options.

Excellent Friendly Service and the room was exceptionally clean and bed was really comfortable.. this was my first time staying at a Red Roof Inn .. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely choose this motel again .

bugs in my bed
I woke up the next morning with bugs in my bed. I took one on a bandaid to the lady at the front desk and she said "that's not a bed bug". Since I've never seen bed bugs,, I just said "I don't know what they are but you have a problem"and left.

My husband had a fall injuring himself
Cut his wrist on a broken handle on the fire extinguisher case
I reported it and they told me to clean up his blood, or get out!

The room were kept clean, ac was very cold and was quiet for the most part. The only issue I saw was the pool looked murky and unbalanced with chemicals
