Don't let the pictures fool you, they are stock photos and nothing like reality. This is more of an extended stay and not a good one. We checked in, after getting an eery feeling when pulling in the parking lot. Drove around the back of the building like the said. 1st clue to leave. Started walking to the room, walked past a room decorated like a vape shop with flashing light everywhere....2nd clue to leave. Got into the non-smoking room that straight ups smelled like cigarettes. Duvet covers were stained, toenail clippings, cigarette ashes all in the floor. And an air cleaner sitting on a counter that says not to be used while room is occupied....final straw to make us leave. I have asthma and immediately started having a flare up. Husband called the front desk. She says come up and I'll see what I can do. She is the ONLY good thing about this establishment if you can call it that. She says there's no other rooms available and she can issue a refund. After doing some research she says she shouldn't have assigned that room as it was listed as extended maintenance aka someone had done ***** in there and needed to be cleaned top to bottom. Don't waste your time or money!

Just don't stay there. No toilet paper holder so half used rolls were stacked into a corner, pretty sure to hide the dirt. Stains on towels. Carpet is filthy!! Absolutely no housekeeping in 3 days. Owner was quite rude at checkout because he couldn't find the deposit. Could go on, but no need too.

Stay away! Hole in wall above shower head, rip in curtains, register damaged. Overall very dirty looking, dirty walls, chips in floors. We made the mistake of telling the cleaning staff we didn't need the sheets changed, just clean towels & garbage changed. They apparently misunderstood as we had to repeatedly ask for towels & had to take our garbage to the desk every day. They were going to supposedly let them know but this continued every day until I asked when this was going to be taken care of. No apologies to us. This hotel is an embarrassment to the Quality name. The lady taking care of breakfast was sleeping in the lobby one morning. Ran out of milk & juice as "truck had not come yet".

This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life...and I have toured Europe and used to live in Harlem, NYC. I pulled off the highway 12 hours into an 18 hour drive because I was worried about crashing, called, confirmed they had wifi (I needed to do my paperwork, which had to be in that same morning, and for that I needed wifi.) The guy at the desk was pretty cool (he's the only good thing I'll say about the place) the whole hotel stank of cigarettes. When I pulled around the side I saw huge piles of mattresses just left outside. I also saw several used syringes that looked just like the heroine needles you see on the street in NYC. I did my best to be positive. The room I was lead to stank and there were discolored patches in the bedsheets. I swallowed hard, and pulled out my laptop to finish my paperwork...and the wifi didn't work. At this point I'd had enough. I packed up, contacted the guy at the desk, who was understanding and told me since I wasn't staying I didn't have to pay. Then they charged me for the room. I went to my credit card and explained the situation. They asked for proof and I sent it. Thus Began a 6+ month long battle with these slumlords to force me to pay for a service I didn't use, after being taken in by false advertisting. The place is a wreck, all the nice photos you see are lies. This absolute sh*thole should be condemned and that owners should face a fine and be forced to do several hundred hours of community service. NEVER STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

The courtyard smells musty and moldy. The total room charge was $119.54 plus a $19.99 fee to manage this reservation! The temperature of the water in the shower and at the bathroom sink would not get past "lukewarm to cool". No phone in the room to report problems to the office. A cold shower was not what we paid for after working out in the cold all day. We ****** it up and took cold showers since we did not want to deal with putting on dirty clothes and making our way to the office. In the morning, we went to the dining area for the continental breakfast. The room was very cold and this was brought to the attention of the breakfast attendant. She acknowledged that the room was cold, chuckled and did not reply to our request to turn the heat on. There were posted signs at the entrance of the dining room and on the walls in the room informing us that the food was to be eaten in the dining room and taking food to the room to eat where it was warm, was not an option. The mattresses were not secured onto the bed frames/bases. Leaning against the bed caused the mattress to slide off the metal base. At check out the water issue was brought to the attention of the desk attendant. We were told that the same room was occupied the previous night and the office did not receive any complaints. NO compensation for this miserable night stay would be offered. This stay was not pleasant, comfortable or acceptable for $119.54 plus a reservation fee of $19.99! We stayed at 5 different hotels over the past 5 nights. Four of the hotels were in Newport. This hotel was by far the worst customer service experience and the worst accommodations.

Okay my first mistake was prepaying for this hotel room because it meant they could screw you over as much as they wanted. When I arrived I could not find the hotel because their entrance sign was very tiny and a semi truck was parked blocking the front of the hotel so you couldn't see it. When I went to check in there was a sign saying the pool was closed no advanced warning turns out also the hot tub was closed which is one of the reasons I reserved this hotel 45 minutes away from where I was going to be hanging out at on vacation. I reserved this hotel for the pet policy, breakfast, and the hot tub for my bad back. The hot tub was also closed. I complained about this and the guy pointed at the sign and said there's a sign bill. But because I prepaid my hands were tied and I couldn't find another hotel that late at night. The next morning I came down for breakfast deciding to make the best out of the bed situation and half the stuff in the breakfast room had signs that it was out of order. So I decided to have a waffle. I guess they ran out of signs because that didn't work either. Then I went to get ice because I was going to be outside all day. The ice machine had a sign on it saying out of order use second floor ice machine. Under that somebody hand wrote that one is broken also. Outside the hotel I went to walk my dog and there was trash beer cans in a giant pile of mattresses and box springs behind the hotel. A very sketchy guy kept looking at my car and checking it out and asking questions making me very nervous. I had to stay the second night but when I came back to my room it had not been cleaned. I got a hold of ********** and they got a hold of the hotel who agreed if I checked out after the second night they would not charge me the third night. They offered no other compensation from the hotel. ********** did give me a voucher so I could stay someplace else the third night. Also they said the hotel agreed to refund my third night if I checked out after the second night. When I went to check out the grumpy clerk behind the counter said there's a sign here about the pool and proceeded to charge me a early termination fee of one night for leaving on the second night. So no breakfast except at Waffle House next door no hot tub for my aching back, and afraid to walk my dog because of all the trash behind the hotel. And charged full price for three nights with no compensation from the hotel when I only stayed two nights. This place was a total dump besides of all the horrible service. The only redeeming quality of this hotel was the gentleman that went into my room to clean it after I checked out and thought my suit hanging behind the door and he rushed it up to the lobby and gave it to me. Nothing else good at this hotel, avoid it at all costs. Only good thing was that I made it through ********* and they tried to help compensate for the hotels shortcomings, and the housekeeper that brought my suit.

Avoid this place. The property is an old outdated Holiday Inn. Way too many deficiencies to list than time allows. No phone, smoke alarm not working, no ice machines, pool area closed, dirty and a limited front desk staff Does not meet Quality Inn standards
