Worst Super* ever they should close it, spiders in the room with giant nest, walked into a web every time going to the bathroom, bathroom tub was so dirty, and the drain didn't drain so I had to stand in my own soapy water while i showered, room was supposed to be a non-smoking room the can of spray they used didn't cover up the smoke smell , as to stay till 11:10 checkout was told it would cost me another $50 to do so, so my meeting had to be cut short (m only reason for stopping and staying)

If they vacuumed it was a streak through the middle! And after my son’s shower he put on clean socks to wear in the room. The bottoms became black! The bed was almost like a board. And I was scratching all night. I have bites all over me! I’ve made a note in my travel diary to not ever stop there again! If I hadn’t have been so exhausted I would have checked out at 1: AM

What makes this stop good is the staff. i had some ice chests that were heavy to unload the staff came out and helped me unload. im thankful for the help i received. the motel could use some udates as the furniture is old but the room was clean and we slept good. its a good pit stop on our road trip. its not the ritz but a good layover if you need a room for the night we stayed there 2 nights coming and going and we enjoyed the stay the staff is the best part of our trip and stay here. would stay again if we needed an overnight stay again.

I must admit, bargain bookings have their price. Sure it is a savings to stay at this place. Just don't expect the pool to be open or working, a modern room with fresh paint, that does not smell moldy. At least the ice machine worked, and mini-fridge and micro also. The place really needed upkeep. I keep expecting Bill Clinton pop out of one of the rooms with Monica.

Upon arrival the property looked and and run down. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. while walking up the stairs to the room there was a trip hazzard.. one read was departing from the base and sticking 3/4" above the rest of the rest of the tread. The room was supposed to b non-smoking but stunk of smoke. All in all if we are in Hope again we will stay elsewwhere

There were at least a dozen flies in the bathroom. The highway sounds very very loud. The hotel seemed pretty run down: splotches on the wall, ripped/broken furniture, etc. The breakfast existed, but was poor.

It's the perfect halfway point in my trips to Houston. The staff are helpful and courteous, even though I showed up after midnight. The facility, on the norm, is clean, safe, and easy to find. Only cons : Old recliner with torn upholstery Very heavy door ... Opening with a broken arm was a bit difficult.

Must have changed owners in past 2 or 3 years, I've stayed here several times since 2007 and seen a well kept older Holiday Inn with a formerly fabulous hot breakfast become a shabby run down pitifully neglected looking shell of its former self. So sad. The water temperature in the shower constantly fluctuates, basic maintenance of the property is minimal, the one remaining ice macinine is pathetic, the wifi in the room I occupied was weak at best. I can only describe what was thrust out as "breakfast" as disgusting. There was only one large thermos labeled coffee, it was empty, no one was around to resupply. This has been my go to stopping over point on the drive between Nashville and San Antonio, no longer...

This place is not for families. My kids did not feel safe. We stopped here because my parents used to stay here when traveling to Texas and my dad has many fond memories. It is not the same. It is not clean. The breakfast is only muffins and cinnamon rolls now. Our soap was unwrapped and shampoo half full. On the plus side, our door and chain lock both worked and no one was rude to us. Don’t stay here if you can afford any of the other options in town.

This is the worst hotel experience ever I highly do not recommend this hotel. No working showers, no hot water, unsanitary bedding and chairs, stained walls, burned blankets (assuming cigarette burns), mold and cobwebs, door locks barely work, plumbing issues, no breakfast as advertised (cinnamon rolls only) unhelpful staff at check in, questionable characters roaming the parking lot at all hours of the day and night, large dogs running loose in the walkways, most ice machines are removed (except one), people appear to be long-term tenants here, not a place for a traveling family. We were given access to multiple rooms to at least take a shower since our shower didn't work, the next two rooms offered had broken locks and no hot water at all. We ended up going to a truck stop to shower that morning.
