Okay for a night stay but I wouldn’t stay for longer. It was noisy due to people outside in the middle of the night. Room was clean, you can tell it’s an older motel as the bathroom shower had some cracks.

Scottish highland stay
We stayed for the kelso scottish highland festival. The room was comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly.

The property felt calm and safe and clean but noisy at night. For the price I can't complain much but I did dislike that the fan was always on when the bathroom light was on. I get it's probably for ventilation but why not wire a relay to the shower valve and have it on a timer? Also the door handle bit could be pulled off the door some from the outside which was concerning but not a huge deal. I recommend staying here if you're on a budget

Worth It
The place is kept up well with a couple of exceptions. But overall it is comfortable. The highway noise is tolerable. Starbucks and Jack in the Box is in walking distance. Lots of other eating places are nearby also. And the cost is reasonable. The staff is great.

Not so good
The mattress was really bad. The shower was gross. The location is good. The internet wouldn’t connect. The guy at the desk was cool.
