We booked to dine at the Astra Restaurant for 530pm, 11 of us, and the service from the start was pretty ordinary. It was like we annoyed the waiter with our order (entree’s and mains plus numerous bottles of nice wine) and even though we spent plenty, we were treated as a pain. After 1 1/2 hours we had to ask how our main meals were going, which went down badly. 10 mins we were told, yet another 30mins before they appeared, and we were still missing a couple.. When we questioned this we were met with utter disdain. The arrogance was breathtaking. Steer clear of this place. Over priced with terrible service.

Astra is really the perfect place to stay at Falls Creek. Attention to detail on everything - from the personal shuttle pick up when you arrive to the many little luxury touches in the rooms. The restaurant and bar are fantastic and it has an amazing curated wine list with some really special wines to choose from. Ski-in and ski-out convenience and the pool, spa and sauna make for the perfect recovery after a day on the slopes. Astra's reputation and international awards are well deserved.

Beautiful establishment. The stay was splendid. Very nice charming design. The amenities are great. The service was great too. The rooms are very nice and well maintained. The food at the restaurant is really good. Ate here mostly and it was satisfying.

I attended the spa for a treatment package but was not a guest. Sienna who did my massage (sorry if I got her name wrong? Lovely English lady) did one of the best remedial massages I have ever had. I wish I could go back for another! The staff were professional, friendly and the place was beautiful. Thanks again

Wow! Such a great place. Didn’t want to leave. Everything was amazing from the stay to the restaurant to the day spa to the library. The area is beautiful and peaceful. Overall amazing experience. Great getaway with friends to enjoy nature at its finest.
