We booked an ensuite powered site online. The ensuite itself was excellent and wouldn't look out of place in a hotel. Towels, face cloths, tissues and toiletries all laid out on arrival. The site itself is quite large with pool and play area. There were children around when we stayed but we didn't feel that this detracted from what was a peaceful and restful stop for us. To be honest the wildlife (including peacocks) made more noise than any children. The laundry facilities appear to have been updated recently and are paid for by card only and there is plenty of clothes line. There was also a visiting woodfired pizza truck on the Friday. Plenty of walks available down the esplanade and down to the beach. All in all a really relaxing site, with excellent staff and ensuite facilities. Highly recommended.

Park is very child oriented and minimal areas to get away from the screaming, running, noisy children and parents. No child free areas for the adults that don’t have kids. Far from the relaxing stay we thought we were going to have!

Great location
The caravan park is in a great location - right near the beach and esplanade; our cabin was a bit old but spacious - I’d recommend that you opt for a cabin that isn’t in the “duplex-style” - every time your neighbours move or talk, it feels & sounds like they’re in the room with you!

We had 2 nights here as part of a family reunion. With 16 people, including 2 children and 3 teenagers, we had a variety of cabin accommodation. The staff were wonderfully helpful all through the reservation process and gave us a warm welcome. The cabins were a pleasant surprise - very attractive decor and spacious, everything very clean and well maintained. The youngsters loved the "jumping pillow". The grounds are attractive and there are lovely park and riverside walks on the doorstep. Highly recommended.

While the park seemed busy the cabin was spacious, clean and quiet with good undercover car parking.

We booked an ensuite site online. There was no requirement on the form to state the size of our caravan so we booked and paid for the site. We later received a telephone call advising that there was no availability as our van was too large for the ensuite site that was available We then were allocated a powered site which was the last available which was unfortunately beside the playground. This site would be great for families with children but not for couples wanting a peaceful stay! We were told we could not get an immediate refund for the extra we had paid for the ensuite site and a special form would have to be completed which could take several days, On the positive side the office staff were friendly and helpful the fault lies with the booking processs and policy of Discovery Parks. The park itself was in a pleasant location close to the beach and walking track and the amenities were very clean,

Every praise possible to Donna, looked after me, offering me another site when I mentioned a concern with the site I was on. Advised me of my member status and what was available upgrades and freebies, all team very friendly and helpful. Park has large sites and in a great location. Currently the midges are a nuisance pack your spray.

Excellent caravan to stay at, kids absolutely loved it. Clean toilet and showers, movies at night for the kids, great pool and jumping pillow. Would definitely recommend for families. Staff were really helpful and polite. No issues with any part of our stay
