The owner was there to greet .me even though I came in at 10:30 pm. I felt very safe, the room was clean and plesent. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was clean with good hot water.

Bath tub looked as if it needed to be cleaned and the bedsheets did not smell fresh. Overall, It was a comfortable stay. A lot of dining options to choose from.

It was an old hotel but the room was clean. We had zero issues with sounds and slept well. The staff was very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

It’s disturbing how dirty it was. From the floors to the beds, to the bathrooms. It was gross.

Horrible experience.
Although we had made reservations and they were confirmed, they canceled them on the day of our trip. Never even contacted us to let us know. They contacted my husband. Not sure how or why they did that and he was able to let us know that we didn't have a place to stay. The hotel said my card was declined. very suspicious of that as there was plenty of money in account. very bad experience! No place else to stay.

We sincerely appreciate your feedback and are saddened that your reservation was cancelled. So we are disappointed that you had a less-than-satisfactory experience. We investigated more about your reservation and found out that when you booked your room, you chose to pay at the hotel. That means it is not a prepaid reservation. Also, your reservation had a 24-hour prior to arrival cancellation policy, which means that within 24 hours of your check-in time, we can take an authorization on your credit card associated with your reservation. And our PMS system found out that your credit card was declined, which could be because of a bad credit card, insufficient money, or a locked card. The system tried to take authorization on the credit card late in the evening. That is why your reservations were cancelled. As soon as we find out, we will contact you at the phone number that you were provided while booking. So, you mentioned your husband's phone number when you booked the room online, and that is the number associated with your reservation. We called your phone right after your credit card declined to save your reservation and update it with a new credit card, but no one answered, and a voicemail was not set up, so we could not leave a message. After 2 hours, your husband called us back and we informed him that the reservation was cancelled due to the credit card being declined. We also informed him that we have proof that the credit card declined, and if you need it, call us and provide your email, and we'd be glad to email it to you. If you think you have plenty of money and that shouldn't have happened, then you have to ask your bank why it was declined. In order to prevent future occurrences, you may want to use a valid good credit card. So, we could sell your room to someone else after declining your credit card. I will share your comments with the property to address your concerns. We continually work to improve our hotel, so I appreciate you providing us with your feedback.

Really clean and comfortable. I had a late check-in and the staff got me a great room. Offered me a bottled water- a little thing, but a nice touch.

The property was clean and orderly but the building is old. The chair in the room was a pleather material and it was flaking. Looked like it had seen better days. Bathroom fixtures were updated and worked well.

Red Roof experience.
I arrived at the Red Roof location got a call from the front office as I pulled in asking if I was coming. I told them yes I’m in the parking lot. I go the front they said they canceled my reservation. Because I didn’t arrive in time. Mind you they sent me an email saying my check in time was 3pm to 3am and it said on the email to notify them of arrival would be later then check in. I arrived at 7pm inside my window. They said they said they could rebook it but could charge me more but would give me the same rate. Then they said they could charge be for being late. I explained they could not do that as I had in writing from them when to check in and it was already paid. They were extremely rude and lacked emotional intelligence. I could have went to a nicer hotel and not stayed there if I wanted to. Overall horrible staff horrible stay and would recommend anyone else to just go stay somewhere else like the Holiday Inn or Hampton or Hilton.
