The hotel is nice and quiet. Room was fairly modern and clean, nice balcony and view. Nice bar and lobby with fire place and games. Lots of hiking nearby and beautiful area! Hood river town is lovely too!
I wish the room cleaning would involve making the beds. Sometimes the pools would have needed some more cleaning and supervision.
We loved the outdoors pool and cold plunge. The sauna was nice, would prefer a wet one though. The robes provided were awesome. I loved the cofffee shop and the girl that worked there was very sweet and patient!

Had an excellent time here. Beautiful hot spring pools and hot tubs. Love the hot tub balcony room. Only complaint was fire alarm went off at 3 AM due to staff use of space heater and nothing was explained to guests while we stood out in the cold for 20+ minutes. I asked Upon check out what the alarm went off for and was not even given an apology for the inconvenience. Otherwise great stay and would probably stay again.

We wanted to love this stay, but it ended up being a very mixed experience. The room itself was mediocre—not bad, but definitely not at the level we expected.
The restaurant was disappointing. Service was extremely slow and the Thanksgiving dinner, considering the price, was underwhelming. Not terrible—just nowhere near what it should’ve been.
The spa had highs and lows. The outdoor spa was a nice temperature the first night but very foamy, and while the indoor spa was wonderfully hot that night, it was cold the next night. The treatments weren’t as relaxing as hoped; the tubs take so long to fill that the water never gets truly hot. The space itself wasn’t set up well for cold weather, so we ended up chilled rather than detoxified. The dressing rooms also felt tight and awkwardly designed.
Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off at 3 AM on our last night, and since we live close by and were already underwhelmed, we decided to leave early.
There are some lovely elements here, but consistency and attention to detail need improvement.

We were truly looking forward to our stay, as we were celebrating both my wife's birthday and Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell significantly short of expectations and was ruined by several critical failures, especially considering the price point.
We deliberately chose and paid extra for a room with a hot tub; however, the tub was unusable upon arrival as it was dirty and full of debris. While we appreciated being moved, the second room led to a miserable night. The door to the room next to ours was left open (likely due to maintenance), and it repeatedly slammed throughout the night, causing us to get absolutely no sleep.
Furthermore, the expensive Thanksgiving prix fixe meal, meant to be part of our celebration, was a major disappointment. My food was cold, and they had already run out of certain selections, so it seemed like we got the last portions of the meals. When all these problems were mentioned, the only concession offered was a check-out extension until 11:30 AM.
This was not the relaxing, high-quality stay we paid for to celebrate these important occasions. The facility is in need of updates and better maintenance, and the level of service and dining quality does not justify the high cost. We advise future guests to seek a cleaner and more modern establishment for their special events.

Quaint, woodsy, and comfy vibe here. Really appreciated it! The spa services are pricey, but I love the pool and sauna access. Room was clean and comfortable. The dinner service was okay. I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks as well since the Café doesn’t have too much to offer. They could benefit from like a vending machine or something of that sort. Overall, my stay was comfortable.

The room wasn’t ready by the 4 pm check in. 4 is already a late check in time so to have the room not ready by then wasn’t ideal. They didn’t apologize they just said they would text when it was ready, which to be fair was 20 minutes later. The room was cozy but the mini fridge needed to be cleaned because it had a strong odor and the sheets had red wine stains on them from a previous guest. Hot tubs and soaking pools were all great.

The room was Not spotless. We found hair on our bed, on shower curtain. There was pieces of food on carpet. The bed was comfortable, but not the pillows! Door keys stopped working every day! We stayed for 3 nights. Even when we just checked in they where not working! Had to go back to the front desk every time! It was annoying and there was no apology! Loved the Jacuzzi on the balcony! It was clean! The food in restaurant is OK, they take so long, and burned my food.
