leave anything valuable in the room. The bathroom shelf was sitting at a jaunty angle and therefore we couldn’t put anything on it. The shower was more of a dribble than a shower. Having said all of that, it was neat and clean and a fraction of the cost of other local hotels.

From the moment we arrived till the morning we left we were made very welcome by all the people involved in running the OYO . They went above and beyond to help us out from Georgia booking taxis for us to my friend behind the bar going to his house to get me cigarettes when I had run out big thanks (hope you enjoy Edinburgh 👍👍👍) cleanliness spot on ,food amazing,and very reasonable for top quality,. would recommend to anyone looking forward to seeing you all again thanks

It felt like the focus was more on the restaurant than the accommodation. The staff seemed to have been unaware who was arriving so had to check. Said our rooms were not ready, even though we arrived after 5pm, but given alternatives. No mention of check out times or if breakfast was available, ******* says they do breakfast at an extra cost? We had booked 2 rooms and first impression was nice décor. However one room had no toilet paper or sugar on the tea tray. I stayed in a family room, I had to move kettle to windowsill and put the extension lead on the single bed to use it as there was no socket nearby. One of the lamps did not switch on as it was not plugged in, had to take the lead over the single bed to do so after I tightening up the stand as it had come loose looked drunk. The bed had a wooden frame, the bottom end joints were loose and needed gluing. There were several empty and part used complimentary toiletries left in the shower from previous guests. My room was at the front of the property so overlooked the road, I personally had no problem with road noise as I am hearing impaired.
Okay there were some minor issues which had to be mentioned but the room and bed were clean and comfortable. I think we would stay here again because the issues did not bother us that much but needed to be mentioned so they can be put right. Although it may not necessarily be our first choice.

On entering the property we was greeted by the reception staff they were very friendly and helpful, they made our short stay feel at ease, had everything we needed and the owner was so polite even carried my bag upstairs and said anything we need just ask. Really can’t fault our room was lovely felt homely & cosy, the area was nice & quiet. Highly recommend this place. We had the family room as it was the last one left for us to book & was a great size room. 10/10

Very eco friendly as only half a roll of bog roll
Stayed here a few years ago and was great very disappointed with this visit room was freezing heating put on as entered room draughts from windows closed was gale force toilet no heating whatsoever and again draught froze you when going to the loo
Half a roll of cheap loo roll for 2 adults ????
Thank god the Mrs brought wipes
A mini telly only fit for a small caravan
Very very disappointed not sure if Roberto still here if he is standards have slipped

We picked a very busy day to need a bed in Durham as it was the university open weekend. La Spada was reasonably priced & good enough, despite quite a few adverse reviews.
The hotel is not set up to take guests after 10pm, a fact not highlighted when we booked at 11.30pm & then tried to get in. Fortunately we were admitted.

床很舒服 - 简直是再好不过了！！！房间很陈旧，也不是很干净。我们入住前，房间里的浴室没有打扫干净。幸好只住了一晚，所以我没用设施。水槽里也没有热水。经理坚称不是这样，但打开水龙头至少十分钟后，还是没有热水。房间里的三个杯子都很脏。浴室里的架子倾斜，不能用。浴室里的剃须灯坏了，也许是因为上面有厚厚的一层灰尘？？从酒店后面往外看，可以看到一个杂草丛生的花园，里面堆满了各种垃圾。我们入住后试图向经理反映这些问题，因为我们退房很早（谢天谢地！！），但他辱骂我们，指责我们喝了太多酒（一个人喝了两品脱苹果酒！！），还三次挂断电话。请无论如何不要住在这里！！！
