The staff were fantastic , smiley friendly and very helpful. The room was lovely and a very comfy bed .The Breakfast was fab with varied choice .. would recommend to anyone who wants a lovely stay in Tutbury .

We didn't have a good stay, I just said the check in was efficient and they staff were pleasant.

The facilities were not good.

The room seemed clean, though the lighting was quite dim, so not easy to see. the bathroom was terrible, the WC wasn't clean, it was very stained on the edges of the pan that has built up, because it hasn't been cleaned properly over time. The shower has no pressure, it was hardly worth using. The vinyl floor was split along the middle of the room and quite dangerous, the corner of the bath panel trim was missing exposing sharp edges of ply.

it was very disappointing and not worth the price.

Excellent bar downstairs which was very clean and looked very attractive. Room itself was quirky and large. Had everything needed , warm , comfortable although only thing I didn’t care for was the pillows. A little too hard for me but everybody is different

We didn’t eat in hotel as we were meeting with friends but looked very nice .

Lovely, quirky old inn. Clean & comfortable. Food good. Staff friendly & helpful.

Next time we will request a room not on the top floor, as we are in our 70’s & found the uneven stairs a bit of a challenge!

Loved the oldie worldlyness of the place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good we ate at dinner and breakfast. Our only complaint was the bed, we like soft/medium but that was firm bordering on rock hard.
