Just came home from another lovely stay in room 5 which is our favourite room. Our family & friends were all camping which is no good for us oldies. The beds are so comfy & the kitchen very well equipped. Staff are lovely & happy to help. Will be back next year. Location is excellent for Barmouth, Bala lake & Portmadog.

Breakfast scam
Be aware of breakfast. I booked 2 rooms including breakfast at £16 per person. After accepting booking I was told breakfast would be via a voucher for cafe in town (1 mile away). This is not what I wanted so I asked several times for the breakfast element to be refunded and the owners refused to do this. To add insult, the cafe voucher was value of £11 so a £5 immediate loss to me for the inconvenience and limitation of cafe food.
All I wanted and expected was breakfast to be refunded (before I arrived and discovered this) and I would have left a positive review but the customer service has left me bitter and it is simply not necessary.
