Other than the chap on reception who was a jobsworth, and not very helpful, our room was very good.

Very spacious room, friendly staff, lovely big comfortable bed. Small but beautifully finished bathroom. Nice (lukewarm but nice) breakfast. Very nicely decorated restaurant. Ample free parking to rear.

Lovely building out in the countryside, but with good access to surrounding areas. Large rooms, good decor, comfy bed (with the freshest sheets I have ever smelt) and good shower.
Good food with great service from the front of house team.
Will choose Himley again whenever I am next in the area.

Nice accommodation
The accommodation was pleasant and well equipped. Unfortunately, the food was dreadful which was acknowledged by the very charming waitress who served me.
Breakfast was good and a nice selection.

Stayed here for one night. The room was very dark because the decor is dark. I had to put all the lights on and wear my glasses as it was hard to see. It was a nice room with a good selection of tea and coffee facilities. There was a nice note with two miniature chocolates upon arrival in our room. Bathroom and shower was nice. I did notice some cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling and in the light outside the window there were quite a lot of very big cobwebs that had obviously been there a while. We stayed in room 21 so you had to walk outside to get to it and through an entrance hall. We didn’t notice till the following morning but we had been walking passed a spider hanging from the window inside and then on the way out we looked up and to my horror there were quite a few spiders on the ceiling as you walk downstairs. Surely this is a matter for housekeeping it shouldn’t be left like this. Also there were two extra pillows in the wardrobe so I got one out and then saw a dirty mark on it so I didn’t use that and the wardrobe had quite a bit of dust in the bottom. The room was nice but not the cleanest we have stayed in I’m afraid. Breakfast and dinner was lovely a nice choice of meals and you help yourself to tea and coffee for breakfast. There were cereals and pastries, yoghurt and there were some nice options on the main menu I had a full English which was very nice. All in all a lovely one night stay. Would definitely go for a meal but don’t think I would stay again.🕷️
