Hilltop Legacy is a very small hotel -- a few rooms that are part of a larger house where the family that manages or owns the property lives. As the name suggests, it's way up at the top of a steep hill with a lovely view of the bay. Unlike the last small hotel where we stayed on the Big Island, we found the arrival instructions to be straightforward and easy to follow. We were met by the friendly owner/manager, who helped carry our bags upstairs. The room was very small, but clean and pleasant. The walls, however, are very thin, and we felt as if we were in the next room. (Not a place we wanted to be.) The common area was inviting. All in all, we were very pleased.

我们在这里住过几次，每次都住传统套房。从前窗望去，市中心的景色美不胜收。此外，还有一个宽敞的侧阳台，可以欣赏市中心的景色，天气晴朗时，还能看到莫纳克亚山的壮丽景色。此外，还能欣赏到周围郁郁葱葱的热带绿化带。虽然不确定，但这家酒店可以说是位于希洛最高的山顶上。我还喜欢这间套房保留的20世纪30年代的原始浴室，瓷砖装饰、漂亮的浸泡浴缸以及可爱的更衣室。比一些较新的酒店或普通酒店更有特色。据说有时会有人对停车地点感到困惑，但我不知道为什么，因为酒店内的停车位标记清晰。
