Great location in St Peter’s Port. Good pool and outdoor area.
The best part was the outstanding staff. All of them were very accommodating and friendly. Christina was exceptional she remembered everything you asked for, constantly smiled and a delight to be around. World class service.
The hotel does need some updating and that is being addressed, however the hotel is immaculate, great breakfast choices and a very relaxing place to take a break.

Fantastic staff!
It’s a lovely old hotel , just a bit constrained by its location. Our first room aircon was not working on the hottest night of the year. We were moved to another for the next three nights.
The Classic rooms are ok but honestly, I have stayed in much nicer less expensive rooms on the island.
You are paying for the location and the absolutely top dollar service from the hotel team. They are fantastic.

Fantastic hotel they couldn’t do enough for you and everything was provided even sun cream by the pool. Downside is it’s at the top of a big hill and not very big rooms.

The quality of service we received at this hotel was better than we've experienced for many years. I have nothing to criticise about The Old Government House. We had a wonderful stay.

员工努力提供五星级服务，但人手不足，导致我们经常需要等待。例如，办理入住手续花了将近半个小时，而我们前面的客人却享受到了香槟和酒店的详细介绍。这当然很贴心，但对于后面只想入住的客人来说，却并非如此。
早餐非常棒——菜肴烹饪精良，自助餐种类丰富，还有现点现做的选择。
晚餐令人大失所望。我们去得早，开胃菜非常美味。但之后餐厅变得拥挤，我们的主菜却很糟糕（过熟且味道寡淡），服务也形同虚设。等了半个小时服务员才来点饮料，我们只好自己去吧台点酒。
这家酒店很有潜力，但需要翻新，而且员工也需要提供他们有能力提供的服务。
