Check in was easy. NO problems there. It’s the first motel I’ve been to that actually had a gated entry into the parking lot. You use your door key card to open it. We didn’t think anything of where the room at first when we had to go all the way around the building to park. Half of the parking spots in from of that side of the building in that section were handicapped. Our room was upstairs near the end essentially above and behind the main office. We had NO idea that it was essentially next to a truck stop where people were raving their truck engines at all hours of the night. The lights were literally spotlights outside of the room! Even with the lights out, the light was still bright enough to read by! The drapes didn’t really cover the windows so it was very bright with the lights in the room off. The curtain themselves didn’t really block light either. We tried to use a hangar with the pants clip to pull the curtain more closed by attaching it to the door knob. The refrigerator was really noisy so we ended up unplugging it and even after doing that, we could still hear the refrigerators in the adjacent rooms they were so loud too. The lights in the room were extremely bright (also SPOT lights) to the point we ended up using the bathroom light. There was only one panel of switches that included the bathroom light (where shower and toilet were), the fan and then the one over the sink. We ended up going to the Super Walmart to get ear plugs to get through the last night!

Very disgusting

The room was dirty. The walls had splatters of who knows what. Every single wall. The sink was dirty. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The bathroom had urine splatter on the walls by the toilet. The shower curtain was moldy. There was hair in the towels. I couldn’t use anything in that room because it was gross.
