Basic but nice room and location in the Jewish Quarter. Good location, 5 mins walk to Jewish market, 20 mins from main square and Schindler factory but quicker by tram. Clean and key code to enter as no staff present. Perfect base for your Krakow adventure

Don't be fooled by the photos on TripAdvisor, the rooms shown are not the Armon residence but the main Spatz hotel, the Armon is a sister building, there is no reception in the Armon when you arrive you speak to someone via intercom to get a code to enter the building and for a lockbox which has your room key. There are no lifts and the stairs are very dimly lit with no natural light. Our room was on the third floor and after entering i was shocked at the state of it, it smelled so we had to open the windows, because we arrived early afternoon we just left our bags and headed out into the beautiful city of Kraków wanting to make the most of our short stay, when we got back to the Armon later that evening we had a chance to better examine our room and to be quite frank it was disgusting, the couch was threadbare and covered in stains, dust and cobwebs on the walls, curtains hanging off the rails, holes in the curtains but by far the worst was the beds, pulling back the bedsheets the mattress was filthy and covered in human hair so much so we wouldn't sleep in it ,reluctantly had to lie on top of the bed, it's got to be the worst room I've ever stayed in, next day we rang the Spatz hotel and they sent the hotel boy , their words not mine, when he arrived and I showed him the bed he shrugged his shoulders and said " what can I do about it " I was fuming and he obviously seen this so he said he'd speak to his manager, when he left my wife and I packed our bags because we couldn't stay in that room, so I rang the Spatz again and asked to speak to a manager but they said the hotel boy was on his way back with their decision , when he came back they offered us another room, so I went with him to inspect it, and when I checked the mattress there was hair on it as well although not as bad as the first room, I told the hotel boy that they're obviously not cleaning the rooms properly and he said we're doing our best, and offered us a complimentary breakfast in the Spatz.

Stayed here with my son for a first visit to Poland , great location in Kazimierz, Duffys irish bar is right outside and there are lots of bars and restaurants close by, rooms are clean and basic and all you need for a city break , cannot comment on staff etc as its a self check in hotel , however the sister hotel the Spatz is very nice with great staff as we found on our departure, would i stay here again yes 100%

Very well located and well equipped. If you planned to visit the city most of your time and you only look for a place to sleep, it’s perfectly fine. The only negative point that we got was some bad smells coming from the toilet, but the room itself is very clean. Would recommend for short stays

Our first rooms bathroom absolutely stank of sewage and wasnt the cleanest of rooms. They are basic which is fine but bogies and things on walls are basic cleanliness. After one night we moved to the top floor and this room was 100 percent cleaner bigger more modern and the smell was better but not completely gone. But i must say the reception were fantastic about it and sorted very quickly. Upon arrival there was a quewe of people outside wondering how to get in as there is no reception. Luckily i had read there was a sister hotel so we walked to that. It was a decent 10 minute walk away which is annoying. Apparently you are texted a code to get in but obviously none of us got it that were waiting. If id not read previous reviews id have had no idea of the sister hotel or how to get in! About a 30 min walk to the old town not sure on transport we walked everywhere Wouldnt stay again just due to our own experience

Good location
Hotel was ok, it was the sister hotel to the spratz aparthotel, which when we went to was lovely. It was in a good area of the Jewish quarter near the square with moomoo and Ariel on. The cafe downstairs was lovely food was delicious especially the cakes!!
Room was ok, we wasn’t in it really other than to sleep, but it was clean and had everything you needed. The only bad thing about it was the pillows in the bed, they were not good. Other than that it was fine. Cash machine/exchange literally down the street and shops.
If I was to go again I’m not sure I’d stay in this one maybe the sister hotel
