I am fortunate that wingate has an online check-in, which I would give 50 stars, because the clerk at the front desk was AWFUL. I paid for my room online through ******* day before. My 2 kids and I got to the hotel around 9:30. At check in the clerk asked for a physical card to run for incidentals. I typically don't carry cards anymore bc tap to pay is virtually everywhere...except certain hotel front desks apparently...so I couldn't use Google pay. I happened to have my debit card on me, but the strip/chip has gone wonky and I need to order a new one. The clerk said he couldn't run it through his machine and needed a different card. I asked if he could type in the card number, he said he could not. I asked to put my card in online for the incidentals - he said that wasn't possible. He said very unapologetically and coldly that he couldn't check me in. I explained I had already paid for the room and showed him my receipt and he said I would need to call ******* to cancel it. I explained I can't cancel the same night, it's nonrefundable, the reservation said nothing about needing a physical card for check in, and I'm in the middle of nowhere with 2 small kids. He seriously could not have cared less. NO bit of concern. I asked if he could please help me bc I already paid, my kids are tired, there won't be incidentals - off chance then we'll figure it out. He stared at me with disdain and ugliness. Rude is understatement. Wyndham, get tap to pay and teach clerks not to be aholes

The pool was nice and the breakfast was pleasant. The vending machines unfortunately were out of water in all machines.

The breakfast was lacking. The room was not clean. The hvac unit had so much dust on it and the edges of the room were also very visibly dirty including the walls near the floor. The tiling in the bathroom was in need of repair.

I have stayed before but the quality of breakfast was below expectations, and it was a full hotel and limited tables in breakfast area. I found trash from previous visitors in room. For the money , and previous great experience, I was disappointed

Clean room, helpful staff, breakfast included, indoor pool and shopping/food nearby. Great value for the price. Will definitely stay again. They don’t have the waffle machine anymore, but they did have packaged mini waffles that my kids enjoyed. Staff goes the extra mile to help with services and recommendations.

Breakfast was very limited. Lukewarm eggs and turkey sausage. No pastries or muffins. No fruit at all. The hot tub wasn't working right, only half the jets came on. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. We chose this hotel specifically for the hot tub and breakfast so needless to say we were highly disappointed.

The hotel was conveniently located and overall clean. It's an older property and looks a little "tired." I checked in late and was (not) greeted by an unenthusiastic young adult. The floors and elevator carpet were dirty. My room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable, very soft. Note...i like a soft bed. If you have a bad back and need a firm bed, this isn't for you. The maid didn't bother to clean out the fridge and I was shocked to find leftovers in it. The fitness center had a couple old cardio machines and a few random sized dumbbells. I didn't eat breakfast but there seemed to be several continental options. Nothing special.
