We've stayed here before but it's changed ownership since. No bar anymore. Staff were friendly and helpful but that's really the only positive I can find. It's run down and in need of updating. The room was full of damp and mould and a really overwhelming smell was present. We won't be returning. Wasn't the cleanest either.

The staff at this hotel are amazing great welcome rooms a little out dated but well worth the money so carnt complain breakfast they come and take ur orders and the food was really tasty definitely wold stay here again thanks for having us would definitely recommend this hotel

Budget b&b. Whilst location is very handy for the pubs, the area is very run down, rubbish everywhere and lots of local druggies hanging around. Parking was tricky, ended up leaving in a public car park full of rubbish. B&b itself is much like most on the back streets. Easy key access to come and go as you please which we like. Breakfast served 9 am onwards, no good if you wake up early and want to eat. We found it very noisy, banging in the evening which I presume was owners downstairs as when we called them it stopped. Windows in the room filthy, shower the same. Take your own pillows, the top pillows were huge and rock solid. The bottom didn't have covers on and were paper thin. Bed was okay in terms of comfort, bit hard but was okay for a couple of nights. Kettle in the room but no milk or anything to make a drink. Dirty old razor in the wardrobe and very poorly decorated with chewing gum grey towels. We've stayed in worse for a boozy weekend but it wasn't the best. The family running it are pleasant enough and we definitely like the lack of contact to just do our own thing but it's far from being clean. Get what you pay for and it was fine for a couple of nights. There is a car park to the back which attracts undesirable, shouting and screaming all night, out of the owners control but spoiled it abit.

We visited this weekend and were unhappy from the moment we arrived. The property looks nothing like the photos advertised. Cleanliness was extremely poor — after using the shower, black hairs were visible all over the shower walls. In addition, the hot water took approximately 15 minutes to come through, meaning the shower had to be turned on well in advance just to use it. Before arrival, I checked what amenities were stated as being provided in the room, including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and a hair dryer. None of these were present when we entered the room. While I had brought my own toiletries, many guests rely on these being available. I also had to ask twice before a hair dryer was finally provided. When we attempted to use the television, we found it did not work. We also looked for the welcome book to access WiFi details, but no book was provided. As a result, we had no television and no internet access for the duration of our stay, meaning we were unable to watch anything or even stream content via a tablet or iPad. Breakfast was another major disappointment and left both my husband and me feeling unwell. We understand that this hotel is not high-end; however, basic cleanliness, working facilities, and the amenities advertised should be a minimum standard. Unfortunately, this stay fell far below expectations. We will not be returning.

Although the room was spacious it was in very poor condition. Floorboards creaked and were very uneven. Radiators dont work although they did provide an electric heater. Items advertised were not there. Had to ask for toiletries and hairdryer. (And then only given a bar of soap). Water takes about 5 minutes to get warm and then it's scolding. Beware if you have children. No bar although advertised as having one. Website and photos on TripAdvisor really need updating. People nice, but have got a lot to learn if they want this to be a success.

Excellent location for all blackpool attractions and easily accessible for bus train and tram Owners have another long taken over this hotel but could not have been more helpful and accommodating from the min we entered hotel martin took luggage to room and on last day Karen made us a full English at8am despite dinning room not opening til 9 so we could leave for train Room was bit dated but spotlessly clean with everything you need in bedroom bathroom Would definitely stay again

We stayed here back in May. We had a very pleasant stay. The owner was so friendly and helpful. When I left I noticed I had left some of my belongings there. Sal kept in contact with me for several months as I lived very far away and unfortunately when I revisited in August he was away. He advised me to talk to some of his staff there. When he returned he contacted me and they sorted out posting my stuff to me. I cant thank all the staff there enough. I know its only little things but that makes a big difference. Thank you

The rooms are basic and cheap, you get what you pay for, noise from the other guests staying was horrendous as the walls are so thin. Breakfast was good on the first morning a full English breakfast with bacon but the next three mornings they served turkey bacon without even mentioning it and it was awful I couldn’t eat it so that ruined it for me. I won’t be staying there again I would rather pay more for a quiet comfortable night with a proper English breakfast, don’t be fooled by the pictures they have on here the front of the hotel looks nothing like that it’s very run down and feels like the owner has just given up.

Ok approached hotel dreaded going but any how go in last says come to desk book in she gives us no 10 top floor I said I,be requested a ground floor due to my knee arthritis twice sent messages week before got reply yes it's ground floor.go to room up 3 flights of stairs go in minging so lassy comes hubby says can't stay her she can hardly get up stairs so lassie comes back I can give you room 2 as I see you struggle with stairs, it's just a flight of stairs anyhow go in room 2 brilliant bit cleaner windows dirty, beds clean towels old and grey bathroom Cannae swing a cat plug sockets falling off wall had to bend down to see in mirror no plug near mirror to do hair sockets miles away beds were nice bunk beds squeaked when you turned over save your money go elsewhere a plus wee lassie was very helpful.
