I wish it was more quiet. There’s some loud maintenance going on next and above the suite I stayed in. The front desk staff are super friendly.

Positives: The staff was super friendly and the hotel was aesthetically nice over all. The bed was soft and the room was clean.
Problems: We had a few issues, though. Our shower never got hot. It was just lukewarm. We were only there one night so by the time I took the shower, it wasn’t worth relocating rooms bc I didn’t need to use it again. Additionally in our particular room, the shower door would not remain closed. We just wedged a shampoo bottle to keep pressure so it would stay closed. Had our stay been any longer I would have requested a room change but it wasn’t necessary. I did make the staff aware and they offered to send maintenance.
Our second issue came at 5am. The smoke alarm in our from woke us up from a dead sleep. The front desk called and asked if we were cooking or smoking. Neither. We were asleep. We did have to wait for the fire department to arrive to inspect our room so that wasn’t fun in the early morning hours. No communication from the hotel after that and no offer to comp our room or make an apology. We were able to doze back off around 7am but housekeeping banged on the door at 830 even though we had until 11 to check out. It was super frustrating and we didn’t sleep anyway so we just got up and left. Overall maybe a different room would have changed the experience but given the situation, I don’t think we’d stay here again.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was nicely appointed. A special word of "Thanks" to Crystal for recognizing my wife's birthday with a slice of cheesecake and a candle in it. FYI - Please consider informing your guests about the parking situation as a violation results in a $16 ticket and a $2.50 fee for paying by phone.
