Although our room was well-maintained and clean, the bed and bedding delightfully comfortable, the lobby inviting and welcoming during our 6-night stay….I found the breakfast staff to be consistently impolite and unkind. Maybe they were having a bad morning as it can happen, but six mornings of this was not a pleasant way to start each day at this hotel. Winona and another female breakfast staff lady seemed to be bent on acting rudely and it made coming down to breakfast unpleasant all around. Any food item I inquired about was met with glaring eyes as though I was creating an inconvenience, and closing the breakfast area a full 15 minutes prior to the posted close time felt so rushed me and other guests. On the first morning. I mentioned my uncomfortable experience to the lobby staff who replied with “I’m sorry.” Hmmmm….

So, for this reason alone, I would hesitate to return to this hotel as lovely as it was, otherwise.

Fairfield by Marriott, surely you can do better. Your breakfast staff reflects your company….perhaps the breakfast staff has lost sight of this.

Desk clerk was very accommodating when we asked about our trailer that we were hauling a golf cart and motorcycle on. We came down after check in to have a beverage and she was so kind, very friendly. Our room was very nice and clean!

The room was not cleaned, the staff was not helpful. We were told to wait when inquiring about an additional room upon check-in because the person wasnt good at muti-tasking. Then lost the opportunity to get an the additional room. When we checked out on the final day they then told us they had extended our stay. We had already found other accommodations. This was extremely dissapointing as it used to be a really nice place to stay.
