The location is perfect to enjoy the tranquility between the sea and the river. An oasis in the truest sense! The staff were so helpful and welcoming, the rooms luxurious and the pool fresh and refreshing.

Had a wonderful stay at cherai in a home stay that was comfortable and safe. Despite not having the set up of a well furnished star hotel the accommodation was neat and nice. A fantastic view to the lake side and a frontal sea view on the other was really awesome. With a common hall overlooking the sea on one side n the lake on other spending time there esp in the rainy season is a treat. Food at cherai local restaurants are super as you get to taste the tastiest n freshest of a variety of fish at v low cost. A fantastic place to spend a couple of days here. Preferable days Monday to Friday. Saturday Sunday it's heavy rush otherwise a calm and wonderful place to spend 2 or 3 nights with family.
