We have been in the short-term rental business (STR) for 6 years, and we have never offered free daily cleanings or advertised that we do. In response to requests from our esteemed guests, we recently started offering optional cleanings for an additional fee to those guests that want them. I apologize if anything on our page gave you the impression that this service was free.We have also always charged for electricity separately, which is a common practice for STRs in our area because of the longer-term nature of our bookings, and because of the incredibly high cost of electricity in Punta Cana. We know that some of our international guests may not be familiar with these facts, so we have always listed that we charge for electricity separately on *******, and we even include the current market price per kilowatt. We assumed that this was a sufficient disclosure, but considering your feedback and the fact that we have no control over how ******* displays our pricing and policies to guests, we will take immediate action to review and improve how this information is communicated to our future guests. I have also personally reviewed your electricity consumption during your stay to determine if you were overcharged, and I can confirm that you were not. You stayed in one of our biggest penthouses that has 5 separate high-power AC units, and our kilowatt tracker indicates that they were turned on almost always. Nevertheless, I will reach out to the electric company to confirm this data. You can rest assured that if they find any errors that led to you being overcharged by even a cent, that we will issue a refund immediately. Our team at Costa Atlantica prides itself on its honesty and on exceeding our guests’ expectations.
We have stayed several times in a condo at Playa Turquesa and always looked at the Costa Atlantica condo's when we walked the beach. We finally booked it for 2 weeks (end Jan early Feb). We rented through GoPuntaCana. The condo (C302) was AMAZING !!!. Absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was very nice and there is a water cooler (not shown on the pictures). The beach had some occasional seaweed, but staff worked very hard to sweep it up and remove it. The water was nice and warm and there are no rocks or shells. We did groceries at Jumbo (taking an Uber) and if we needed only a few things we went to Cicollela (about a 7 min walk). The staff working at Costa Atlantica were extremely nice !!!. The complex is very safe. The grounds were very well kept and I was very happy with the beach palapa's for shade. We did experienced one issue during our stay, regarding the water supply. The first week we were there the water pressure was poor, however then suddenly there was no water at all. The building management was aware of the issue and acted immediately to try to resolve it and brought in a special company to fix it. So koodo's to them that they tried their best to fix it as soon as possible. Once fixed, we experienced no problems anymore. We were very happy that the complex was quiet, also at night. You do not hear music for the neighboring properties, which is a huge plus for us. We look very much forward to be back soon !!!.

I went with my family (4 adults) and it was such a bad experience that we left the property two days before our paid stay ended. The apartment was spacious, but everything else was bad — really bad. There are unpleasant odors around the complex. The beach is poor and crowded with excursion boats; the workers are basically right next to you all day, with no privacy. To buy food you have to walk about 500 meters through an area that feels unsafe — dirty, unpleasant, and full of trash. The staff isn’t friendly. They constantly try to charge you extra and don’t make any effort to help. And the price is extremely expensive for what you get. The worst part is the overall environment and the crowd in the area — very low-end. What’s crazy is that just 500 meters away (along the beach) you hit the Barceló resorts and it’s a completely different world. Bottom line: don’t stay here.

perfect location, small and quiet and walkable to great restaurants! very safe. friendly staff who helped arrange airport to/from. no need to rent a car.

Positives: The property was beautiful, staff were always available if something was needed and were very helpful in coordinating airport pickup and dropoff. The pool was perfect for young kids as there was a shallow pool, as well as a deep area for adults. Bedrooms and living quarters were tastefully furnished, and made us feel at home during our stay.
Negatives: We did have a 8 hours period were there was no running water, and alerted the staff, would mentioned it was due to a repair they were making to the pool. We would have appreciated a heads up so we could plan our cooking, laundry and showers accordingly. Additionally, the windows in the bathrooms were the only ventilation when showering, and were unable to be closed and secured. When i made note of this to staff, they said someone would come and look, but it was never addressed for our 7 day stay.

Property was ok. Poor maintenance. Lot of bulb lights burnt out. They charge crazy money for the electricity, that is not included in the rental. We had the A/C off and they charge $25 dolarsper day.
