We had a late check-in and the staff person was so pleasant and welcoming! We like to stay at this Quality Inn when we are in Marquette because of this, and also because of the cleanliness, comfortable beds, the lamps in the rooms with chargers and easy on and off switches! The coffee and tea that’s available at all times n the lobby. I love the feeling of comfort when you walk in and in the rooms! Also the pool and hot tub are great!

Please replace the beds
The mattresses/beds definitely need to be replaced. I have fibromyalgia and sleep terrible, but this experience was extra. The beds were so uncomfortable my husband had to flip the mattress and remake the bed.

The only good of the hotel is supper nice staff. There is no elevator, the room is small. The shower room is not spacious enough. The price is even higher than holiday inn but the quality seems not even comparable.

A Welcomed Surprise
This was an exceptional hotel at a very reasonable price. It was super clean. with a very comfortable bed, and a well stocked breakfast. The location was close to the hospital. downtown and shopping. I plan to stay here whenever I travel to Marquette. The staff were also very helpful and friendly, too.

Heat stay! Definitely exceeded expectations. Room was clean, comfortable and easy to get to from parking lot. Loved the pool/hot tub hours. Breakfast was super convenient and saved time in morning letting us get to outdoor activities. Staff was super friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Let me start off by saying the staff at this hotel were awesome. Friendly, helpful & no complaints there. Now the hotel itself is a different matter. Now in booking this room the amenities were really important to me as I had just spent 36 hours flying & driving what the airlines could not. So with that being said when I booked the King Suite for a deep soaking bathtub and ended up with a shallow funky looking tub I could have got at any hotel, I was very disappointed. After climbing the stairs because this hotel has no elevator, that also is another amenity missing, I called down to the front desk on my cell phone as their room phone did not work, she let me know I was the second person to say this & she's not sure what the hotel's profile says. I asked about the refrigerated Semi's running in the parking lot so the nice lady tried her best to give me a room away from the parking lot.
Stay here if you do not want the extra comfort amenities, I was willing to pay for comfort but instead saw location & deep soaking tub so I guess for $150 I got what I asked for a place to sleep. If there is a sauna at this hotel I would be surprised as the rest of the hotel looks need some help.

The hotel was a real treat and wonderful change of pace from the chain hotels. The beds and pillows were great. Very clean. We could walk less than a block and view the Soo locks. Went to a really cute ice cream shop and browsed in some of the stores on the Main Street. The only con of this historic hotel is that there wasn't much room to sit down for the continental breakfast. Took a muffin and yogurt back to the room. The night before a tour bus dropped off quite a few guests so maybe the hotel typically doesn't host that many guest at one time.

Sound proofing is not good enough. Basically you will get affected from upstair neighbor walking or people talking in the hallway. Otherwise is all good.

The food was OK but marginally nutritious.
The sauna wasn’t hot enough to be called a sauna. It should be 160 degrees minimum. The hot tub should be 102 degrees minimum.
The wet area should be open until midnight or even all night.
