We stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Jamestown for a couple nights in mid-November, and overall it was a solid experience—especially for the price. The biggest win was definitely the water slides—my kids had an absolute blast, which made the stay worth it on its own.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. Everyone we interacted with was upbeat and welcoming, and that made a big difference.
The room itself was fine—nothing fancy, but clean enough and decently comfortable. It did feel a little on the dingy side, like it could use a refresh, and I had a bit of a hard time finding enough convenient outlets to charge phones and devices, which was a little frustrating.
One weird thing: the elevator made a kind of unsettling noise every time we used it. It didn’t break down or anything, but I definitely had a moment or two of wondering if we were about to get stuck!
All that said, for the price point, I’d say this hotel delivers. Not perfect, but a great value—especially if you’re traveling with kids who love a pool with slides.

The room was very dirty. We did have clean linens but the floors were dirty and the walls were dirty with food prints all over. I understand that this is a kid friendly hotel but your cleaning staff needs to do better on spot cleaning areas. Our bathtub would not drain and we brought it up to the receptionist and was told I wasn’t eligible for any kind of refund because I booked our room through a third party. She did let us switch rooms but this room was dirty as well. I went down to grab breakfast and they closed it early. The pool area had blown up balloons left on the ground from a previous birthday party and the hot tub had a lot of debris on the bottom of the hot tub. Corporate needs to come in a look at this facility and see how dirty it is.

The friendless of the staff, the awesome clean and inviting smell when you first walk in, the spacious room and comfortable bed, the shower was wonderful, the size and jets of the hot tub! Most definitely highly recommend this Fairfield Inn!!

Nice new hotel that is well kept, booking was for 2 kings but only got one. The room that was assigned was not cleaned. Staff had to find a replacement room.

The staff is awesome at this hotel! Very friendly and helpful. The motel always smells so good, love it!! Prices in Jamestown are way too high, I can stay at a resort by the river in Little Rock for $119 a night!! Maybe look into that.

Not very clean, stains on the couch and the pull out mattress like someone wet the bed and they didn't clean it at all

Nice hotel
My son and I stayed in this hotel for a football camp at the University. It was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast is a nice option to have.

Great room but disappointing breakfast
Very clean room & comfortable beds! Staff was very cordial. The only disappointment was the breakfast. Waffle machine didn’t work & only other option was oatmeal that didn’t look appetizing.

Solo business trip. Large comfortable rooms you’d expect from a Marriott.
