I do not like this pub only because of the bar staff, they are rude and miserable which really let's the pub down. It's a shame really as everyone else in there was really nice. Maybe if you didnt have a Karen behind the bar you might be busier

We enjoyed our short stay. It was just for one night. Pleasant rooms, decent breakfast (that catered to gluten free) and a nice pub area. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The kids bed was v thin and uncomfortable though. We didn’t have dinner but family did and said it was very nice. Would stay again if we were in the area.

Busy pub but we did not wait long for superb succulent chicken burger. We are outside under a parasol ,the place was humming with people but the superb staff were coping well. The car park was the and people were parking at the church 200 yards away We will be back at the end of the week

I really love this place ❤️ The views are incredible & its a great place for a long walk in the countryside. Its so clean & fresh. Lovely & cosy character rooms. The restaurant food is equally delicious 👌 I can't fault this place as it it such great hotel & restraunt Fantasic value for money 😀

Thank you to the amazing waitress and chef’s at the Alma inn, was celebrating my gran’s 100 birthday sit down meal with family and friends, they went above and beyond to make it a special night. The food was excellent as always 😊🎉😊🎉😊🎉😊

We visited the Alma for a family lunch and chose a selection of the small plates. There were some great flavours. We really enjoyed the food. The service was friendly and prompt. A great experience. The beer was also great, Timmy Taylors and Vocation.

Came for a meal as we haven’t been for a few weeks. Food good quality but disappointing menu compared to previously. Separate vegan menu has disappeared leaving just a few token vegan offerings.It was always a treat but left feeling a bit let down. Good beer and service though.

Managed to grab a last minute stay so decided to try ourselves to a cheeky night away. Arrived early afternoon for lunch then checked into our room as it was ready. Lovely nice clean spotless room. Staff superbly friendly especially Miriam and the owner. The food was superb. I had the Pepperoni pizza and my wife had the flat iron steak. They were so tasty. Garden area was a nice surprise too. Lovely in the sunshine with views to die for. Breakfast was nice too. Well be back soon guys!

We came across this place and what a find.. we rang in advance and asked if we could park overnight in the car park. Had a couple of drinks on the afternoon sitting outside in the brilliant beer garden with fantastic far reaching views. Professional barman as he chilled my glass with ice before putting the wine in. Its the little touches that make the difference. Booked a table for later that evening. Lovely restaurant area.. We chose a steak and a pie, the waitress told us there would be a 25minute wait with the pie, which was fine, as it means it is being freshly cooked. It was well worth the wait. Steak & pie were both delicious, very tasty food.. The staff were all friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend. We will come back. I would love this place as my local.
