Indeed this is a budget hotel, but that is no justification for being filthy and run-down. Our non-smoking room had the smell of a dusty smoking room. Filthy wash room, filthy bed frame, linens were very thin, we did not inspect them for stains. No coffee, no tea, no water kettle, no chairs, but upon request those were delivered to the room. No refrigerator. Filthy curtains. Such bad vibes in this place that we decided quickly not to stay. Lost our prepaid charges. At least we had not paid the requested tourist tax yet. All places we have stayed in Malaysia the last two years did NOT charge this tax anymore in addition as they were included in the prepaid booking charges. Be aware! We rather lost our money than deal with the consequences of staying in such a filthy place. We wish that booking companies remove lodgings like these from their listings.
