Breakfast was not well stocked. The hours say until 9 am but if you arrive at 8 you have missed the daily allotment of yogurt and most of the hot foods. Coffee had to be asked for a couple times. All hot items are microwaved except potatoes, and they weren't evenly heated. We finally just went out for breakfast on last day. The rooms are nice. Quiet except for the trains. Our room had a view of a stone wall. Not what you expect when you pay to be on the river.... the overlook appears to be part of the hotel in the pictures. However its a walk and quite a few stairs outside. That was a dissapointment. Parking is terrible. Tiny lot at front of hotel, a 2nd parking area behind the hotel, from which you have to walk back to front of hotel to enter. Overall we are not likely to stay again.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Marquette at the Cobblestone. The purpose of our trip was fall colors and trains, and this did not disappoint! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had two rooms for two nights. They were very clean and comfortable. Even though there was a train track right across the street, we were not bothered by any noise. And the view of the trains and river was amazing! Parking is a bit of a challenge, but the accommodations, value, and entire experience made that an easy thing to deal with. We will definitely be back to the area, and to the Cobblestone!

Breakfast was good. Parking around could be a challenge when area is busier as only about 20 cars fit in the lot around the property. Street parking is available but be prepared to walk. The staff at check in was less than friendly...maybe it had been a long day.

We stayed in the top floor which had a common room at the end of the hall that faced the river. Great views and access to bridge & stairs that went to an open air pavilion as well. Very nice! Good coffe for breakfast too!!

We were very pleased with our stay. Our room was very clean, the staff was fantastic, and there were plenty of choices for breakfast to start our day. Parking area is small so that can be a bit tricky, but staff is good about helping you find a place if the lot is full.

This is a very nice property. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The handicap shower was very large with a seat and adjustable shower head. Breakfast was the usual with eggs, sausage, tater tots and breakfast burritos, waffles, cereals, yogurt, toast and bagels. The only downfall is the parking lot is very small, and you may need to park on the street, also the trains run very close and do honk their horn. We have stayed here before and will again.

Friendly staff, comfortable, clean, quiet*. We would definitely stay here again.

*Note: Train tracks run close to the hotel, as it is near the Mississippi (nice view of the river from here). A couple trains went by during both nights, but didn’t make much noise and didn’t bother either of us. We were on the 4th floor, so it may have been quieter up there.

We have stayed at this property off and on ever since it was built. It needs up dating but over all is well kept. My main complaint was the smell. Our room smelled musty old air, like you find on older hotels, stale. Maybe it is the room air handler?
