The Chateau is a remarkable place for dinner; very reasonable in cost for the high quality and very pleasant hospitality. Dinner began with an aperitif in the sitting room, we then moved to the dining area. That night we had a choice of starters, with mains of hake or lamb ending of course with dessert. Wines are available from the local area and the Bordeaux region. The tastes, herbs and spices were very French, very delicate and all very fresh. The fish comes from the local Port Maubert. Rooms are available for a stay if one wants to stay near Saint Fort.

Sylvi and Jon-Jac were the perfect hosts at their chateau. Everything is prepared to the highest standard. Friendly, clean, great food prepared by Sylvi and a beautiful pool. It is a wonderful place to relax and to explore the region from. We were totally comfortable, well fed and cared for with gracious service. Thank you

We spent two very comfortable nights in a delightful room in this charming chateau set well off the road in extensive grounds. Our hostess, Sylvie, was attentive and extremely helpful. Both breakfasts and table d’hote dinners were excellent and nicely presented Many thanks Sylvie and we look forward to returning some day.

We enjoyed two days at Chateau de Salles. We stayed in room Rose Tremiere and was totally satisfied with the room. We enjoyed two evening meals and two breakfasts during our stay. The quality and quantity of the meals were excellent. We enjoyed talking to the owner and learning the history of the Chateau.

Oozing with elegance and traditional charm Chateau Des Salles was simply perfect in every way. Sylvie is the ultimate hostess at this magnificent boutique castle. Nothing is too much trouble. If you want to feel like a princess this is the place to stay.
