I booked a room through priceline.com (WOULDN'T RECOMMEND!). When I arrived at the hotel I was told that there were no rooms available so I had paid for a room that I wouldn't be using. I undertand that this isn't necessarily the hotel's fault. I thought I'd take chance and call the number on my confirmation email from priceline and I got a hold of a rep. She said that she wouldn't be able to refund me unless she confirmed it with the hotel and said she would put me on hold. When she came back on she said she had tried to reach the hotel 3 times and would have to wait for the hotel now to confirm. Since I happened to be on the property still I decided to go back inside to ask for a confirmation. The guy at the front desk basically looked at me like I was speaking another language and wasn't helpful AT ALL! When I told him that priceline said they called three times he said no and then disappeared. I waited for quite some time at the front all the while thinking this guy is taking care of my situation. Nope, he was on the phone around the corner! (potentially taking a personal call????). Probably a good 10-15 minutes later another girl came over and asked me if I had been helped. I explained my situation and she went above and beyond to help me with the ability she did have. She explained everything and let me take a picture of the booking numbers to prove they had no rooms. She said that she would let her manager know right away and even gave me the number to the district manager just in case. Before I left the property I had my refund. Despite the pretty crappy situation, Quinn handled things beautifully. Get that girl a raise! The other dude might need some classes in customer service.

The corridors smell very bad, the breakfast is just a coffee and a cupcake. There are guests who do not respect the no smoking policy inside the hotel. After a week and a half I asked for housekeeping service, they gave me garbage bags and told me that I had to take the garbage out of the room and leave it outside.

I rarely have to write a poor review, however have to share experience here. - The carpets I had to keep my shoes on it was not clean. - The air conditioner did not work so I called and they said it would not be until the next day or so (It was extremely hot weather). - The phone did not work, I had to call on my cell. - I called for washcloth and more towels, they said they were doing hte laundry and hand none!! REALLY NONE. Ipolitely asked if they could let me know when and I could get them she said she was alone and not sure. - I also asked for a blow dryer (standard in any hotel room) and they did not have any of those either. - There were people tailgating and bbqing in the parking lot! I realize there are alot of folks that are staying longer stay, however it was not a safe feeling. I would not recommend this location at all. Needs major improvements.

My family and my sister stayed in 2 rooms at ESA for an extended period. A few observations that show this was an excellent location are: As a FAMILY we were looking for a Safe Location – Able to walk safely with my family to locations such as Carl’s Jr. Taco Bell, Spin Poke & Grill (Great Food), Bank & ATM, Gas Station, ReMART and more. Bang-for-Buck – It included amenities such as, kitchen with stove, full fridge, microwave, large flat screen TV, AC, telephone, and FREE internet. Washing Facility – Indoor 24/7 with vending machines. Playground – Eisenhower Park, 10 mins away. Quiet - Able to hear “pin drop” 24/7. As a SINGLE INDIVIDUAL my sister was looking for a Secure Location – Able to feel secure day or night (onsite security personnel). Super Clean – A neat freak can appreciate a place that is cleaned in and outside. Accessible – Why drive all around when this hotel is right off Highway 91, it was a God send! Yes, there is a new Sheriff in town and the change is notable! Dante Cradduck (General Manager) Also, others such as Front Desk staff (namely, April, Andrea, Delilah and Rowina), maids (namely Beatriz, Rofina and Lupe) and maintenance staff (namely, Francisco). Extended-Stayers, visitors and guests alike, proudly say “Congratulations” to you All, we are very proud of you and encourage you to Keep up the Excellent Work and Service!
