This hotel was very clean and had a nice breakfast. Now with the negative. I was checking in and there was no one to be found. I stood there at the counter for about 10 to 15 minutes with no front desk attendant. I finally was assigned my room and the ac unit was scratching and faulty so I switched rooms and was given even a worse room. It was given room 217. The room shared a wall with the elevator shaft. Every time the elevator moved my room shook and the lights in my room dimmed. This went on all night long and continued until checkout. One of the worst sleeps I have ever had in a hotel room. If I was given a proper room it would have been a great hotel.

I will stay again if I am in Sylva. My only complaint is that the breakfast bacon was over cooked every morning. Other than that...my stay was very enjoyable!

Have stayed here repeatedly since fall 2024. The night clerk, Ashton, was super helpful from 2AM to 3:30 AM when I had to change rooms 3 times in order to have a room with a working TV.The manager is working on the TV issue but is out this week.
The clerk in the morning that was dismissive of Ashton and me about this issue was not customer oriented in the least.
Johnny, who works the breakfast area is a gem and has always been on the 25 or so nights I have stayed there. I find myself always tipping him big because he goes the extra mile, just wants to see other people happy, and is the best part of this place, ...always has a smile, and never asks for a thing. I hope others will show their appreciation as well because he sure deserves it but I feel like it's not the norm.

This is the type of hotel stay I love!
Beautiful lobby. The decor was exceptionally beautiful. The staff were kind and polite.
The breakfast area was large if you’re a bit shy and just want to grab your breakfast in peace. Some of the food was a bit spare even going just 30 minutes after it was served, but not a deal breaker.
Amenities were great. The elevator worked, the ice machine location was easy to access. The parking lot felt private; tucked behind a restaurant but even then it wasn’t like you were IN the restaurant nor by a busy road.
The room: very clean (no smell, no noticeable damages or age to anything). The A/C was great, took a moment for the room to cool down but after a bit of time (even two hours) it felt great in there. It was a very large hotel room so I wasn’t surprised it took awhile. I wish the fridge would have had a freezer so our ice packs could have had an opportunity to refreeze, but again, not a deal breaker. All equipment (microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer) worked. I love that there was a little moveable table that could be used by the chair; like a mini dinner table.
The shower.. MASSIVE! Loved it. Water got on the floor though so be careful with that aspect. Plenty of towels.
I could go on and on about this stay. I will definitely be staying again if the opportunity ever arises.

Noisy hotel.
There were children and teenagers in town for a competition who were running, jumping and yelling all over the hotel at all hours, including in the room above ours and right outside our door. We tried calling the front desk but the in-room phone did not work. The rooms have no sound-proofing at all, and we could hear every word being said. I got about 4 hours of sleep. The hotel needs to do something to make stays quieter and more peaceful, especially at the premium price we paid for a below-average hotel.

Clean and spacious and breakfast had all anyone would want. Great bacon

我们上下电梯三次才拿到能开门的钥匙。因为正值秋季赏叶季节，价格被哄抬，所以价格过高。
