We as a family have visited this lovely hotel on many occasions over the past 9 years when staying in Cruden Bay on holiday, the staff are absolutely fantastic and are always so friendly and welcoming especially Shannon, Maddie, Amy there are others but unfortunately I don’t have their names, the food served is exceptional to say the least with the Haddock done in breadcrumbs (my favourite) also I must mention Ewen the brilliant chef at the Killie magnificent Chicken rice and vegetable soup!!!! It’s the kind that you stand your spoon in the bowl!!!!! And it’s a meal in itself.

This was the favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed in. And I was a concert producer on the road for years. The stone walls to our room with a floor lighting the sweet staff the vegan options in the restaurants, the private patio that was the size of an American yard. We were there during hurricane Amy so we didn’t use that but we were very blown away by it. I would say on our next trip I would make sure we spent most of our time here instead of just one night. Nobody wanted to leave.

Very good night here with spacious clean room and excellant dining room which unfortunaley was being used for a private function the evening we stayed. Food very good and reasonable pricing in the bar.

We arrived as a party of 7 and the lad behind the bar I didn’t get his name was extremely helpful and efficient, food was great, big hearty portions and an extremely satisfied travelling family

Booked a table for dinner and it was probably the worst meal we’ve ever had. Chicken fillets were burnt, overcooked and totally tasteless. The fish was also overcooked, dry and tasteless. The waitresses were lovely but seemed rushed off their feet. Asked for salt at start of meal and it never came. Total waste of money. We will never be back

Perfect hotel near Cruden Bay Golf Club
This hotel is very consistent. We have stayed there 3 times and have always been happy. Staff very friendly and helpful.
If you have a lot of luggage, ask for a room with the least amount of steps to climb.

Dropped in here for dinner after long drive North. Quite quiet initially, so we were seated in the lounge area which soon became busy with locals and lots of hungry golfers. Good menu with plenty of choice. Servings were BIG, well presented and very good - Cullen Skink, Steak Pie, Lemon Sole all hit the spot. Would certainly eat here again

Great location near Cruden Bay Golf Course
Hotel has that lived in, cozy feel. The staff is terrific, the food quite good, the best sticky toffee pudding in Scotland! We have stayed there twice and will return again next month.

Ate here on our way back from a busy day of driving and stopped on the off chance in the evening. Bar staff were very friendly and the bar area was nicely busy for a random Tuesday evening (we got the last table for dinner so were lucky!) Food was excellent and huge portions. Cullen Skink starter was clearly homemade and delicious. Mains were also lovely and huge so we didn’t manage a dessert - but saw them coming from the kitchen and they looked great.
