+ Great location on the beach, not crowdy. Sunbeds free of charge. Large famiky room wit 2 balconies, both with the sea view. Close to bus stations for both directions. Young Christian very professional and friendly. - Breakfast coild have some fruits, and in the bathroom toilet was a bit leaking onto the floor. To sum up I would recommend it!

This Hotel is a complete disappointment, where to start first.. -Bathroom always flooded due to too short shower curtain, cut by hand -Shower cabin full of mold that I needed to clean -Ants walking on the walls and floor -Walls that are unfinished and not well painted - Brekfast that is of very poor quality, tasteless, the same every day, and so on. Crete is a very beautiful island, but places like this that can a little disappoint.

Very bad experience with this hotel. The price is ridiculous high for such an old hotel and the service is non-existent for what you pay. The breakfast is very poor and the quality of the food is bad. You eat the same food every day, there is no fruit. After few days you wonder if these people are normal and that there are people who are fine with that kind of food. Walls full of ants, wifi that didn't work all the time. I had to buy internet. The worst thing was the bathroom which was really old. A dirty shower in which you cannot adjust the water for 15 minutes. A shower handle used in the last century. I newer saw something like that. The curtain cabin, which was cut as if a child had played with it, is of no use because the water will flood the entire bathroom evry time you take a shower. Our front door was from glass and if someone would stand next to it he would hear and see evrything because our bed was next to the door. You don't have privacy. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff at the Minerva gladly let us use some beds when we wanted a beach day (@ 6 days) as long as we bought some drinks. Not a problem. On our last day we stopped there for some lunch, a good couple of hours looking out to the sea. Great food and service. Mrs C and the boy shared a huge Margarita pizza and a huge side of chips with grated cheese. I had the very tasty vegan burger and chips. All washed down with a few drinks. Thanks to all at the Minerva for letting us use the facilities and thanks for the great service.

we went to this beach because was on the road , we paid 8 euro for 2 sunbeds, all fine but then we asked to have some fruits on the beach , the waiter tell us that they don’t serve fruit so we ordered other stuff. One hour later the same waiter served a big plate of fruit to other people that ordered a prosecco!!! they are intelligent as a rock because if you want to pay for the fruit they don’t serve that but if you spend they are willing to offer for free. All the guests should be treated in the same way regardless of how much they spend. We will never come back!
