We stayed in Room 1024. October is a very slow time for tourist volume in Vail. We felt like we virtually had this timeshare development to ourselves. This development was completed in the early 80s. It somewhat dated, in general, however they have made some updates. Our unit was a one bedroom with pull out couch and loft with two twin beds. The flooring was plank flooring throughout with newer furniture as well. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped with everything needed.

This is an older property that has not kept up with the times. There is no AC, no onsite restaurant or snack bar, nor is there anywhere within walking distance to get food, groceries or basic items. The rooms need maintenance. The ceilings had stains and the carpet was old and wearing in places. Pillows and towels smelled musty. The outside amenities were older as well and not well maintained. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The location is perfect for Vail and Beaver Creek skiing. The van will take and pick you up from the resort to the vail ski area all day long. Beaver creek is only a 10 minute drive so we went over there to ski as well and found cheap parking ($13) at the Elk and Bear lots in Avon. The unit was clean and well maintained. Most parking is outdoor but there is also covered parking on a first come availability basis. Will be back.

No need for a flowery narrative, just wanted to give future guests some feedback about our recent stay (hence the bullets). -Arrived, signed paperwork, given keys, and THEN told there was no running water (which the management had known for 1-2 days before our arrival). Really poor taste to tell us AFTER signing paperwork, nevermind zero advance notice the day before (or morning of). While they did get the water back on at 10:30pm, all guests in our particular building had to share two toilets and two showers in a downstairs locker room. I saw one almost- empty water jug near the elevator, but that was the extent of the effort to make things right with the guests. We spoke with some other furious returning guests that arrived a week or two earlier than we had. The front desk staff gave a weak apology, and said it was out of their control. Something “unpredictable” doesn’t absolve them from responsibility, and they took very little. - One of our bathrooms was not sufficiently cleaned. There was a lot of black hair in shower. At some point, someone came in and cleaned the wrong bathroom. - The front desk staff, particularly were not very attentive or friendly. Before we arrived we found the email correspondence equally curt and unfriendly. - We couldn’t access the lobby after 11pm, and therefore couldn’t access our ski storage locker where we left something. Perhaps there was a work around, but when it’s 7 degrees our, you don’t want to try that hard to get into the lobby. -WiFi turned off for a day, which is a first world problem, but made an already frustrating stay even more so. -The water turned off again for repairs on our 3rd or 4th day, but at least we had a little notice. - Steven, the shuttle driver, was lovely. - Furnishings, etc. were fine. Basic. Felt a little like military lodging. Nice to have paper goods and kitchen soaps provided. - Very nice to have laundry in our unit. -Nice to have a storage locker for skis (lock busted on our second day but fixed quickly). -Transport to the ski area was easy. -Hot tub and pool were often very crowded, but seemed clean enough. And nice to have pool towels provided. Had we had any other option (or been given advance notice), we likely would have found alternative accommodations. But that’s not easy to do the week of Dec 28th, the busiest week of the year (unless you have $2k+/night for family of 6). We made the best of our trip, but will not be staying here again. Even though Steven was the man.

酒店回复: Hi Keli. Thank you for the compliments in your review. If you read the other reviews on here, you will see that they are well deserved. I will tell Steven that you enjoyed his customer service. What happened when you were staying here was that an outdoor water main that feeds 2 of our buildings broke. This happened due to cold temperatures, which was not under our control nor something that we could have planned for. It happened on a Friday night unfortunately, the day before plumbers take the weekend off. Also, during the busiest week of the year. We spent Saturday calling every plumber we could find and finally found one who drove 60 miles to get the parts that we needed and came while the sun was setting to do the work to restore the water to your building. Water was restored shortly after 10 pm that night. Saturday morning before 8 am we brought in bottled water so people could make coffee, etc. and we also placed a refill station for the gallon water jugs in the elevator lobby. The clubhouse building where the pool and locker rooms are was the other building that lost water. We were able to restore water to that building early in the day and thus, showers in the locker room were available for guest use. So, we did everything we could do to remedy this situation as quickly as we could, all while we were turning over rooms and guests in large numbers since it was a Saturday check out, check in day. Also, I think that you checked in on Saturday and did not move into your room until 4 pm correct? So that means your water was not on for approximately 6 hours of your stay. The rest of the week water was on to your building. If we were not 100 percent occupied the week that you stayed, we would have moved you to another room, but unfortunately that was not possible this time. As for the WiFi, it was an area outage by our WiFi provider that effected all of Eagle and Summit Counties and it was remedied before noon on the day that it happened. We sincerely apologize for these 2 issues that occurred during your stay and want to assure you that it is not like that here all of the time. Sometimes things happen without warning and our entire staff worked diligently to correct the problems.

The hotel is in a great location, with nice views and some good amenities, specially the pool. The rooms are nice, but they are just a bit outdated, hotel is quite old.

This is the best timeshare unit we have experienced. The staff was very helpful. There was no timeshare sales pitch. Parking was great. The grounds were immaculate. The 2 bedroom unit was large, extremely clean and quiet, very well stocked and had a nice fireplace. The location was convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, and the village center. The resort has a very nice indoor/outdoor pool. We definitely will return to this resort and highly recommend it.

The pillows were small. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were rough. Very small kitchen and bathroom. I have bed bug bites all over my arms, The unit was cold It did have nice living room and dining room furniture. I had a view of the parking lot. There was a small creek running on the other side of the building. Pool looked nice.

Close to all the local shopping and activities. Right at the local bus stop to get to the Vail Transportation center. Note our unit had 3 bathrooms but only 1 private bedroom, there was an open loft and 2 sleeper sofas.

Really cute little place to visit Vail during the summer. Lots of stuff for the family to do, it's just outside the city which feels more part of nature, but a quick drive into town. If you get a room with a view of the creek it's just kismet. The pool is super warm; the Putt-Putt is kitchy but fun.
