We were so looking forward to staying here. Unfortunately, it fell short of our expectations. The pool was nice, although parts of ceiling were molding and rotting. Our room was small, but nice enough. We found a previous guests breathe right strips in our room. Pretty gross. We also saw some broken plastic/glass when we walked out to the fountain to take a picture of our daughter. Thankfully we saw it before she was injured. The lobby is beautiful, but the rest could use some help.

This place is a joke. First, upon checking in the associate at night of an asian decent was very rude and condescending. She reminded me of an undercover ******. Then when leaving, my car almost got broken into. Come to find out, 20 cars were broken into and not one time it occurred to the genius staff members to alert their customers.

The Sheraton Mahwah Hotel had great beds as we've come to expect from Sheraton hotels. This location is impressive in size, however it did not seem to be used at its full potential while we there, even with two beautiful wedding events occurring over the weekend. The staff was very attentive and accommodating from the front desk to the restaurant & bar during our whole weekend stay for a wedding that occurred at the nearby Bear Mountain State Park. We did have breakfast at the restaurant, used the fitness facility, and the swimming pool during our stay. We noted some maintenance items that need attention throughout the facility. Our room was at the end of the hall and had a beutiful view of the fountain, and the mountains across the freeway. The only downside was the walls seemed paper thin to the adjoining hotel room as we could hear their whole conversations late into the night, even when our television was on. While on an elevator ride up to our 18th floor room, we were told that this hotel will be torn down in the near future. That would be a shame as the beautiful building could be repurposed for another use.

My husband and I got married at Sheraton Mahwah October 2023 and it was truly magical. Unfortunately, the rain did not allow us to have our ceremony by the outdoor fountain area as planned, but the management and staff were so accommodating and helpful in abiding by our changes last minute. They worked with us months leading up to the wedding up until after the reception ended. Christopher was by our side from our first venue tour until the main weekend, assisting in any and all questions regarding our event. Laura & Reggie helped us with everything hotel & room block related. Frank, the head Maitre D, was super helpful the weekend of, and the bartenders and servers were amazing too. As a hotel itself, Sheraton Mahwah is breathtaking. The mountains, fall foliage, lake, and everything else was perfectly visible from the hotel and the elevators. The rooms were clean and well-stocked. 10/10 experience.

Chris and Laura were amazing when I was planning my wedding at Sheraton Mahwah Hotel. They were so helpful and made everything so easy for me before and the day of the wedding. Definitely recommend this hotel for any type of event you may be having!
