Overnight stay on the way to Sedona. This is a once great hotel that is past its prime, but it is still clean and comfortable. Just in need of a decor update. Customer service was friendly. Our room was huge. We woke up too late to try breakfast at the restaurant so all that was available was the coffee shop which only had a few very basic breakfast items. Unfortunately the surrounding neighborhood appears to be in decline too.

My experience was with the food at a wedding reception. Chicken chardonnay was horrible. They serviced the chicken with the bone in. Who leaves a chicken breast on the bone at a formal wedding for the guest to have to eat around while dressed in formal attire. The chicken should have been boneless and sliced in half length ways, so it would be tender. The potatoes were way to spicy, and I like spicy food, but those potatoes were to hot without any other flavor. No salt or any other taste just hot spicy. I think red chili powder. With cold green beans. I paid for this and was so disappointed. It was for my daughter's wedding . I could not believe the chicken. They drop my daughter top of her cake that you usually save for the 1st anniversary but now she doesn't have it because they drop it and through it in the garbage. I paid so much for that wedding. I'm talking $ 30,000 range and that was with me doing most of the decorating. What a disappointment. I did the chairs and the sashes and all the table decor. For that much money you would think the food would be exquisite. Not so. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

In Phoenix For Baseball Tournament, The Tournament Was appropriately named as it was so hot, 114. Hotel Was Great, Staff Were All Super Friendly, Bar & Grill, Food Was Great, Hotel & Room Clean, It Was A Great Stay, When The Next Tourney Is Nearby We ll Be Back!

I’m extremely disappointed in this property. I booked my trip probably 2 weeks in advance. I was able to check in through my app as I’m a good elite member through Marriott. When I arrived at the property, I was met by a worker who told me they had an electrical fire and weren’t accepting guests. I was told my reservation had been moved to the nearby courtyard. I’m 100% ok that things happen, that is just how life goes. I am appalled the hotel didn’t feel it was necessary to call or email and let me know my reservation was altered. I’m even more appalled they took it upon themselves to decide where I would stay for the week. I’m further irritated I was able to check in through my mobile app only to drive 6 hours and discover I’d been moved to a nearby dump to stay at for the week. They moved me to the nearby courtyard; a property I would NEVER have paid to stay at. The only thing that made this ordeal worse… contacting Marriott customer support. I received no help, I was told they would file a claim. I have spent thousands of dollars at Marriott, utterly disappointed at how they didn’t help me. Overall a complete disappointment. I should have been notified of the issue at the hotel and I should have been given an option of where I would get to stay.

Cancelled our reservation with no explanation or communication and then when we called to inquire why, their phones just ring busy. Aren't Sheraton's supposed to be good quality? This has been an absolute headache scrambling to find a new hotel last second. Avoid this location!

We came into town on business on a cold and rainy night to discover that our reservation had been canceled without any notice to us, and it was still showing as active on the concur app. Finding ourselves in this area on a dark and rainy night was not ideal, and we had to scramble to find a replacement hotel at a much higher last-minute price. We only discovered as we were coming into town that our reservation was showing canceled… And Marriott had no idea what was going on and could not help us. The phone shows as busy and when we arrived there, somebody came out and told us that they had not had any power since January 11. It was completely dark at the hotel, and look like some thing out of the Shining. It would be really helpful if they had some notice on their site, the Bonroi app and site and other booking sites since it still shows as open. I understand that things happen, but the communication here was really poor, and left us in quite a bind.

We’ve never had such a horrible experience with a Marriott property as we have had here. Our reservation was cancelled suddenly five days before going to a family wedding. No phone or alternate accommodations provided despite being a Platinum Elite member (as benefit promises). Our third call to Marriott ended in futility. We have spent hundreds of thousands in travel with Marriott for decades, but now will likely switch our allegiance to Hilton Honors. Steer clear of this property and Marriott!

It was quite a walk to get to our room. We are seniors and had luggage. There is not a free or reduced price breakfast, however the breakfast buffet was WONDERFUL! Everything you can imagine, plus eggs made just for you! signage or directions to get to the restaurant were not clear. EXCELLENT driver taking guests to the airport!!
