I booked over the phone for 2 nights for 27 & 28 September 2025 and paid upon arrival on a speed point but had an emergency to go back to KZN the next morning. I phoned Dawn, and she said I should send an email. Dawn doesn't stay in the property. I have sent 4 follow up Emails already and no refund. They are such crooks, I mean before booking I had a voice of a white person I thought I'd get top notch service but wow I'm very disappointed. The room was not even mopped, only sheets were changed, and now this Dawn drops my calls when I call. The place is good if they did not crook me I was gonna book again for the next conference but now yoh I'll never book here again

There's black mold all over the shower wall, in the kitchen above the cupboard as well, and a bit starting to grow on the ceiling above the bed. The lady working there was very friendly though. The place is quite outdated. I didn’t care about much I just wanted to shower and rest after a long flight but due to the black mold all over the bathroom I was too uncomfortable to shower.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER BOOK HERE. We booked to attend a concert. We could not get dressed or shower as there was no water. The rooms were extremely disgusting and ever the entire upkeep of the premise long grass, old teabags in the grass, cigarette buds by the doorway .Lets not even get to the mold in the shower and filty bedding. The staff and host are extremely horrible to deal with. NO professionalism even when booking and they didn't even want to listen or help with any request. We could not even stay there because how do we get dressed with out showering and go to a concert and they refused to refund us. Please save your money and book in a decent place. We even took a video to show the owner and we were meet with no response. The only way this place makes money is by taking your deposit.

Without a doubt one of my favorite B&B's we stayed at during our time in Johannesburg! We had a late flight and only arrived at the B&B around 23:30 pm. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff, even though the latest check-in was 21:00 pm. Throughout our stay the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They ensured that we always arrived to a clean room each day. During our stay, we were informed that Johannesburg is experiencing water shedding. However, the staff always made sure that they have warm water available and they also supplied a bucket of water for each room. The B&B is situated in a very nice area. We also felt extremely safe for the entire duration of our stay. Nobody can enter, unless you have a remote (which is supplied by the B&B). We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to a great experience. Note, this is not a 5-star hotel, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. Thank you to the wonderful manager who does a fantastic job and thank you to the staff for being such amazing people! Room : 4/5 Service : 5/5 Location 5/5
