I will recommend Coconut Groove Hotel to anyone coming to Ghana for business or holiday. My stay was pleasant. The staff at the restaurant were friendly.

I was told the place is disability friendly but its definitely not. I wont recommend coconut grove to anyone, essentially, disabled people. Im a wheelchair user. If i could have move to a different hitel, i would have was extremely tired.

The taps were not running as they should due to poor pressure and at a point, it stopped running so we had to leave without bathing. Also, when we were checking out, the receptionist embarrassed us by asking us whether we paid before entering and that’s we should show our receipt as proof that we paid. We find this very embarrassing and my question is, how would we have gotten access to the room without going through the due process. How did we get the key? How did we sign the agreement without paying? Does it mean anyone at all can sneak into the room without paying? Then that place is not a safe place to stay. I’m unhappy and extremely disappointed I must say. Moreover, looking at the amount we paid for two nights which is over Ghc 3,000.00, our expectations were not met.

The Coconut Grove Regency Hotel is outstanding and the first place I’ve stayed in Ghana where I feel that I’m at home. I love it here and I want us African-Americans and my brother Africans to come together and control the whole the hotel industry in Ghana just like the East Indians do in America. Everything we do as Africans always surpasses everyone else on this earth. We are the greatest people on earth and if we continue to work together as brothers and sisters in our own homeland, we will show the world and make the world a better place for everyone. But we must work together again. The staff at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel are excellent with the kindness and their ability to serve.I think this is my review,if we unite and open hotels together we can make sure they have better pay so they can have better families and everybody can get better educated and I plan to do my part and if each one of us here trying to do theirs we can accomplish this goal notice as long, but so as our existence on earth has been long, but we haven’t been rewarded for it so I’m gonna end with that and say peace and love.

This is a very pleasant hotel with great staff. They are extremely friendly and accommodating. The food is very good and the pool is a welcome means of cooling down at the end of the day. The hotel does fall a bit short by international standards but the good points make up for it.
