We try to offer more for breakfast than what is required, which is a wrapped pastry and coffee, so we offer sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits, boils eggs, friend eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, toast, bagels, muffins, and fresh fruit! The staff is very nice. It was great to have fresh baked cookies in the evenings. Breakfast was good. The room was clean. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. However, while barefoot, the carpet felt damp. The sofa and chair and curtains were definitely dated. The shower had mold along the top of it. But i would stay again.

If you happy find yourself in Port St Joe & just need to stay over night, this place will do. But overall, the Mainstay is pretty dated & could definitely use a renovation.
