Upon checking in we had a reservation the man said to avoid a 10 day $300 hold on our card we’d be charged $25 and our room changed. Hoping to upload photos because the room was not cleaned at all. He said no breakfast just coffee when the website is all about breakfast I’m sure the sheets were washed but very stained. Room says non smoking but sheets had holes from smoking. Cats everywhere. Hotel employee said he was using fabuloso to clean the halls. Very disappointed. Rate was nice till we was charged $25 when arrived. Very fishy. Thankful we have a place to stay after seeing the lights at ogelbay but will not be back or recommend this place to anyone and I’m not one to bash a business it’s hard to make it in the world today. But the room has to be cleaned before you offer it to a guest not with cobwebs and noddles on the wall by the trash can!

I am allergic to cats. There was an area set up right outside the front door with a blanket, water and food that a cat was on. Door didn’t shut all the way. Once inside there was another cat in the main lobby area. It was also right outside my door as I left.

So i walk in had to wait 15 minutes before anyone came to the desk to talk to me and when he got there he was rude and told us immediately about 150 dollar charge because we were internet people im not happy about my stay and will never be coming back

When I arrived, the front desk man first told me that he couldn't find my reservation, and he told me I should have just showed up at the desk and they would have charged me just $60.00 for the room. Since I had already prepaid for my stay (for less than $60.00) I started looking for proof of my prepaid reservation. Then he suddenly found the reservation in papers that he had at the desk. He then told me he only had a couple rooms of the size I wanted. I told him that I didn't have to single queen size bed room, and he could substitute another room type. He said there was an extra charge if I wanted to get a different room, so I decided to take the room I reserved, even though he discouraged me from taking it. When I arrived in the room I found that the curtain wouldn't stay closed, and the vent fan in the bathroom wasn't working. Since it was very late, I decided to just stay and not complain. When I woke up in the morning I found that there was no wash cloth, no tissues, and very warm water was coming out of the cold water taps on the sink and tub until they had been running about two minutes. The volume control on the TV remote was intermittent. Also, there are what seemed like abandoned vending machines (unplugged and with no products in them) in the lobby. The hotel definitely needs a lot of maintenance, replacement of worn fixtures, decorating, etc.

There is nothing good about this place. How has it not been condemned and shut down? Booked on Priceline and the owner made us pay more to stay. Refused a refund. The old front desk clerk was also rude. Neither would give us a receipt. Once in the room it wasn’t long before we noticed cockroaches everywhere. Crawling on the refrigerator. In the bathroom. We reported and they gave us a spray can to spray them. Guests were being refused clean towels. Needless to say we left and went to Fairfield Inn and Suites. Shouldn’t the Health Department do something about this? The breakfast consists of stale cereal. Pictures on here are very old and not offered. Would not recommend this nightmare experience

Roaches. Horrible employees at the front desk. Stale food cereal in the lobby. How does this place stay open? I felt I was being watched through the mirror in the room. The creepy owner makes sexual comments that make you feel dirty. The old man at the front desk won’t give you a receipt when you pay. I was in my room for 10 minutes and saw roaches scurrying around everywhere. I left and went to the Fairfield Inn. Will never go back.
