Run Away Run Away Fast !!! This Is By Far The Worst Hotel Stay Ever !!! Do Not Book Here. ! The Beds Are Old And Are About 3Ft Off The Ground , You Have To Jump To Get In. The Shower Was Moldy, And Tile Was Chipping Off. The Laminate Floor Is Folding Up Its So Old. You Pull The Blinds And The Two Pane Window Has 1 Broken Glass. They Give You 2 Towels And 2 Wash Rags And That's It. One Lady Only Had 1. No Freezer Half To The Fridge, In Comparison To The Rodeway Inn We Stayed At In Tucumcari This One Cost Almost Three Times As Much And Wasn't Even Half The Hotel !!! And Then Most Of All They Tried To Stick Me With A $100.00 Fee ( For What I Don't Know ) On Top Of All That . They Said At Check In There Would Be A $50.00 Deposit ....Ok But Then They Charged The Whole Bill On Top Of That Too !!! So Glad I Have A Card That Updates Me Any Time There Is A Purchase !!! Then In The Morning When I Tried To Confront Them About The Charges ..... There Is No One At The Desk. I Waited 25 Minutes And No One !!! . Oh And They Only Have Coffee For Breakfast !!!! Got A REAL Continental Breakfast At All The Other Hotels ( And Paid Less) .... Very Pitiful Service And Place.

Insurance fraud My family and I spent the night here while on the way to the Grand Canyon. my teenage son accidentally drove our van under the entrance, which was only 8 foot tall. Which ripped the plastic air conditioner off the roof. I walked outside later and noticed the manager or owner taking pictures of my van. He proceeded to file an insurance claim on his building stating we damaged his canopy and shattered a glass. I attach pictures to discount the claim of this fraud. Fortunately, I took pictures of the alleged damage to the canopy. The paint was not even damaged. So now that he did that my insurance rates went up so he can get a quick check. I believe the owners and their family live in one of the rooms. I can smell the atrocious Indian food cooking all night while I’m trying to sleep after a 20 Hour Drive.

Stay somewhere else! The entire place is old, rundown,and filthy. Can not believe how awful it is. The fact it got an average of 3/5 stars is unbelievable! There are sketchy people living in the parking lot, the room is old, outdated, and smells funny. There is an unknown substance oozing out of the ceiling where it meets the wall; a bucket has been placed underneath to catch whatever it is. The only plus points so far are that the AC works well, and the girl at the front desk is sweet. I feel sorry that she has to work here.

This was my worst hotel experience. Front desk person was uninterested in being friendly or helpful. He checked us in, & gave us keys TO ANOTHER GUEST'S ROOM!!! I couldn't believe it! We walk in & there's unopened luggage there! I was so aggravated but front desk guy didn't care, just handed me another key to a disgustingly dirty room with a broken toilet seat & cobwebs. There was no security lock on the door. We decided to leave, I wasn't comfortable staying in this room or area. There were abandoned cars in the parking lot! They could not refund our money but I didn't care. I wasn't going to stay somewhere I didn't feel safe. I complained to Choice Hotels when I got home & they gave me points to make up for it all, so I can stay free at another Choice property. My advice is read a lot of reviews..... I don't think I did that in this instance. Big mistake.

This is a budget motel. Clean linen, laminate floors, remodeled bathroom with step in shower (no tub). Friendly helpful office staff. No breakfast (OK with me) but coffee 8-10. Microwave and fridge in room. Hairdryer. Just enough towels. NO hangars or luggage stand available. On busy 66 next to railroad.

Facilities are poor. Bathoom was dirty. Credit card machine not working- had to pay cash. AC not working and no coffee available!! Shoddy room and ridiculously overpriced. Only plus point is there is a Texas Roadhouse opposite. There must be other hotels/motels nearby offering better value. Only wish we had stayed at one.
